Hello,

How can i make a nb build that does huge dmg with snipe? i was going around with my v14 DK and got hit for 1800+ dmg having 6 pieces of gear with impenetrable.

My nightblade is v12 and i kept trying to mix all sorts but cant seem to get that good snipe dmg.

A common misconception is that impenetrable negates stealth crits. It does not. Impenetrable only negates non-stealth crits.

Furthermore, stealth crit does 2x the damage as normal attacks, and does more damage than regular crits (which is 1.5x the normal damage).

Snipe can have a base damage of 950. So factor in the 2x stealth crit multiplier, then stealth racials, shadow stone (increase crit damage even more), then passives (on NB), piercing mark, and set bonuses like archer's mind (+15% stealth damage), and you can get 1800.

This guy asked a simple question, in a reasonable, polite fashion, and you're going to sit there and A) insult him and 2) try to provoke some sort of retaliatory remark.

Way more fun to pick people off using ambush/Soul harvest and shadow cloaking away lol

bow damage is being reduced and so is crit. Also impenatrable is getting a boost so youll prob see this a lot less. The guy that hit you prob has a bunch of assassin skills combined stealth critical bonuses or put marked for death on you. 1800 sounds about right for a snipe stealth crit I get more hitting a mob.

I'm not a PVP person but I would think reaper's mark plus either lethal arrow or focus aim in stealth mode would deal some massive damage.
