The one thing i noticed so far is that the new AOE alliance assault skill is COMPLETELY OP. Everyone in Cyrodill on the PTS is SPAMMING this. Needs mosr than a cast time needs a cool down as well IMHO. You try to test new class skills in a battle and get 4 people hitting you with this new AOE bomb just obliterating everything. I got killed and it was 5 different people hitting me with the new AOE bomb. Not mad cause i got killed lol just reporting on the new changes. PvP will likely now just be spamming this skill in skirmish formation . With a skill that powerful there has t be some kind of cool down. PLEASE do Something to make it NOT be the only skill that has to be used. Its such a powerful skill that you have to have limits to how many times you can use it. And possibly drawbacks

On the CP system: First, This is really messed up BTW, You nerf our skills when you introduce the CP system but dont give us enough CP to compensate for the changes? One would think since i worked so hard to get my character to this level, that Any points I spend from the inception of the new program should make my character stronger not fight to get it back to where it was. You should not have made us weaker to feel like we get a benefit out of the CP system!

IMO you are not giving enough CP to people who have put in more time than everyone else. People that have only been playing two months grinding toons up to v14 should NOT be getting the same CP as someone like myself who had been here since early release. Coming into the game this late people cant expect to be as good or have characters as strong as people who have worked on them for months. Grinding quests, dungeons etc.....

My suggestion is every account should be awarded CP based on how long their account has been consecutively active. Since you cannot accurately track the XP as you said, I think you should find some way to reward players for how much time we have put in to the game. Say 10 CP for every month a player has been subscribed. This would at least make players feel like they have wasted their time.
Wit the current system someone who came in two months ago and hasn't put half the time into the game as others is going to be at an equal level. That just doesn't seem fair.

My take on the NB: My main Class
PLEASE change some of the NB skills.
Many of the single target skills are fine. Could use a bit of tweaking but are OK.

Examples: Ultimate-Veil of Blades is ok but NBs lack a Real Powerful game breaking ult. IMO Every other class has a more damaging or effective ult's than NBs.
Siphoning strikes: Replace with

Agony - Remove and replace with viable skill
Suggestion:
Give NBs a powerful single target ranged attack that siphons stamina alone. A morph that allows to switch to siphoning mana. Other morph siphons both but at reduced damage.

Siphoning attacks- Remove the damage reduction(NO other class has skills that replenish their resources, that have drawbacks to them. And it doesn't even restore resources with every attack that's penalty enough already already )

Funnel health & swallow soul- Should return more health . NBs dont have any shields, or strong self heals like other classes. We need something! Also another problem is that the spell is not a projectile, however DK reflective scales reflect our ONLY real self heal. Correct me please if I'm wrong but the funnel health is not a projectile. At least the animation looks as though there is no solid form to it. A Projectile Is a solid object propelled at a target. As apposed to Crystal frags>magic skill that forms magic solid projectiles that can be reflected.

Sap essence/power extraction- Should be more powerful in its base form. Considering it is the ONLY good AOE a NB has that's worth anything. IMHO the rest of that skill is awesome!

Path Of Darkness-Replace with a better AOE. Pretty much a useless skill
Suggestion: A CC root with moderate damage that gives a synergy to the group to siphon speed.

I am sure there are others will update as i think of them.

Last : PLEASE FIX the current state of Stealth. This is horrible! There might as well be no stealth anymore! I do not understand why it was changed. You added a new skill in the alliance tree to deal with stealthy players. Why change how stealth works then?

I love the way cyrodill looks now. Everything looks more crisp.
Many things seem smoother such as setting up siege, and attack animations.
I have not gotten into any large scale battles yet however all i have seen in battles are people spamming that new AOE bomb. I hope something is done about this. Please do something to prevent this skill from being the ONLY skill needed to play the game.

One other thing that IMHO would help the game is making a separate bar for CC break and Roll dodge called Adrenaline. This would possibly allow stam builds to actually start to be viable in PvP. Making them able to focus there stam management for blocking and using stam based abilities.

Please change these things while you have the chance. As it stands, Everyone I have talked to and play with is disappointed so far with new patch and feel cheated. And most of my guild has been paying members since early release.

PLEASE do not get me wrong it shows great promise!! Some, many improvements I think have been for the better.

My Other issues with CP system :

1. Just make sure loyal players feel rewarded (with the amount of CP Earned for someone who has been here longer and is V14 should be more than someone who has only been here 2 months and has a V14 character. In that time difference there is NO possible way someone who has only been here for 2 months with a V14 could have earned as much equivalent CP As others.)

3. Fix stamina balance issue
4. Dont nerf our characters so it makes it feel like the CP sytem works.( You ALMOST had a good character balance worked out! not perfect but was on the right track, this new system again IMHO is a set back in terms of class balance
5. Make CP skills more important. Some look like they are pretty useless.(will post list as to which IMHO could be changed.)

Not Trying to be rude or diminish your(ZOS) efforts. Just hoping to offer positive, well thought out suggestions to the areas i have noticed could need some work.

    lol @ asking to buff the class that is running around cyrodil on the pts 1 shotting people for 34k health. buff swallow soul? are you kidding? Ive had multiple nightblades spam the hell out of that on my hitting for 6k a pop..... every buff you asked for is completely ridiculous lol

    But snipe isnt an AoE. This magicka bomb sounds like it has potential to become the new impulse spam for zergs which is the opposite for what it was made for. Im not on PTS though so only commenting in whats been said by the OP.

    This was what I meant by what I said. Zerg buster yes we want and like that. Needs to be made a skill that will just destroy zerg balls but cannot be spammed.

    As to the NB skills

    Ok i can understand the swallow soul one being fine. I retract what I said about THAT skill. Other than the part about it being able to be reflected by scales. It is not a Projectile skill. (at the time i was trying to use it on PTS i was getting That AOE bomb spammed at me by five people lol. I haven't had the chance to test on 1v1 situation.) As far as other class skills go. I proposed buffs and fixes Mainly to the useless skills. How is EVERY proposed buff I proposed ridiculous?

    Not what I am saying at all. Most of my comments were made about the new AOE buster, and the few NB skills that need work or just need to be plain replaced. As I said with my thoughts on the Swallow soul aside. Leave it the way it is. But there were other concerns that almost NO ONE mentioned in their replies. Why feel the need to try to run someone down based on one proposed and obviously and admittedly a not well thought out comment about ONE skill.
    I started this thread to hopefully get some constructive criticism.

    As it should. We need something to break the zergs apart.

    Not debating the power of the skill either. Just how often you can cast it.

    You sure wouldn't have complained if ZOS would add V15 and V16.
    At least I can't remember anyone complaining about V12 players not getting a headstart on V14 gear.

    After reading this it seems a bit snarky and I apologize for that however I'm extremely frustrated that you essentially threw away all of the balancing and changes from PTS Beta, "Closed" public beta and after the game went live. The game in PvP is a lot more fun on live server than it is on PTS because the 1.6 build is broken beyond standards for even a testing build. It's so broken that it's overshadowing the newness/excitement of it. The justice system is a lot of fun but PvP and some of the champion system passives are terribly wrong. I've listed some below and have submitted either feedback or bug reports. Capitalize on this feedback please.

    Some of my honorable mentions to that list. That sounds narcissistic but I think they are important.

    I would mention Eric but he's not available to be mentioned on the little list. I can understand why with all the problems to combat that 1.6 created. I know you aren't on the forums much lately and we dearly miss your presence but 1.6 is a mess. I'm not even sure you can clean it up before March 17th. I'd love to be wrong though. Otherwise I'll get my TES fix from the real TES studio and play another MMO.

    A "quick" list. I'll get to my notes and footage later.
    • Petrify, streak, templar shards CC'ing through block and breaking it.
    • Rapid petrify chain CC rotation
    • Damage figures overall need to be tweaked.
    • Siege still feels weak. (Completely useless against an emperor. It actually heals him lol)
    • Damage shield stacking. Damage shields scaling off of dps stats. These should be scaling off of either health or armor and when another shield is cast it shouldn't cast a new one until the previous has run out. Major/Minor shielding buff please. I'm not sure why we have to tell you this? Is the combat system that broken or mismanaged?
    • Emperor buffs need to be reduced significantly. These kinds of stats are absurd and will make even bad players look good. The current emperor can bash an entire keep's guards without a break to cap the keep.
    • Cleanse needs reworking. It's insanely broken.
    • Radiant Destruction able to be cast through walls. It is also not removed by cleansing or nb dark cloak. This is not consistent with other channels like soul assault. Not sure how this was overlooked.
    • 2h charge always charges the pets while versus a sorcerer regardless of your target reticle and/or tab targetting.
    • Immoveable needs to only grant CC immunity to those wearing 5 or more pieces of heavy armor. There's no reason for a light or medium armor wearer to be immune to CC. This would be an indirect buff to heavy armor and make it significant. Either that solution or reduce it's cost for each piece of heavy equipped. Medium armor wearers have immoveable the cheapest due to feat cost reductions. Kind of odd that medium and light armor wearers benefit the most from a heavy armor skill, eh?
    • Heavy armor constitution passive needs to scaled off of health again.
    • Heavy attacks dealing 24k+ damage which is ultimately a one shot for those not stacking shields.

    On another semi-unrelated note... You need to get some GMs into Cyrodiil and have them police the griefing. Testers are attempting to /bug things however interrupted by invincible emperors. (*Not due to skill but due to broken passives and abilities.) In the spirit of the Super Bowl yesterday, I understand that it's important to test those buffs however I think we have enough conclusive video proof to overturn those passives and change them.

    That requires more testing IMO. A LOT of game mechanics have changed. Not trying to start argument. But this is supposed to be THE skill that a NB relies on for his or her survival.
    Sorcs have shields
    DKs have Plenty of self heals
    temps obviously have sustainability
    NB has ONE GOOD skill to regen health and NO shields
    and they took away the potion passive which was needed to survive due to the lack of self heals and shields the NB needs IMHO.

    Can't wait for devs to enter the pts tonight :)))))) so the Mighty EMP can bash them to death...
    he tried the classic combo of meteor and that new cheesy temp skill on me..he failed...but hey there's nothing that the good old bash can't kill LOOLLLLL

    PS: he must be very lonely..poor poor EMP

    Are ppl dying to the new aoe bomb cuz theyre piled up together? Seemes like they want us to stay spread out and prevent further blob/zerg play.
