So with 1.6, they think they buffed pets, specificly twilight. Its already insanely weak (defencively) on live, and with this new patch they decreased its overall health. Wich to me I find hard to understand.

If they insist on keeping this incredibly low hp, making it a one shot kill, atleast make it instant cast like clannfear. Id prefer it if they increased its hp however.

If they insist on use using summoned pets, then they need to make sure they stay alive. On live the Twilight will die if she runs into a butterfly and now she has less health? :( She will be totally useless unless they upgrade her health.

the point is that twilights little thunder ***, is LONG RANGED. your supposed to send in the clanfer for mele, then you run mele, or mid ranged, while twilight sits in back and heal and fires. It has low hp as any glass cannon should. What it needs is more damage. There needs to be a FORCED passive on pets, that for each one you summon, you loose a % of you dmg, and % of each of ur stam magica hp. But in return the pet gets 2x what u lost in dmg / hp so.... u summon clanfer and loose 10% dmg hp magica stam. but it gets 2x the hp u lose, so if 10% for you is 2k, it gets 4k more hp, same deal for dmg, ect. Same thing for twilight. So it balances out. ALSO a forced passive in the skill tree to make a sorc actually has to do something other than watch.

yea but theres a difference between a glass cannon and a string blowing in the wind. On live, 1 crystal shard will kill it followed by a light attack. And it having 1.5 cast time, wich is looong, you cant be arsed with resummoning it again. you end up not using the pet at all. Im sure this is something zos was trying to remedy with this patch, not make worse.

Not to mention that hardened ward doesnt refresh on pets, they use up the old one before you can even reapply it, and all anyone needs to kill it, is 2 seconds and a well timed heavy hitter.

(sry pressed the quote key, im tired)

I have been bouncing between my live characters and PTS to try and compare the build changes and CP effects. On my level 19 pet sorceror the pets on test seem much weaker. I ran through Mzenfeld (sp? One of the fighter guild dwemer dungeons) as a test. On live both pets generally stay alive although sometimes the WT pulls aggro then doesn't make it through. On test I found I had to either constantly cast restro stave skills or re summon pets. I have been told they get much stronger at higher levels but they seem very weak at the mid levels.

Just curious what Resto staff ability you are using to heal pet. ZOS nerfed pet heals so that Regen from the Resto staff along with its morphs no longer heal pets.
If they ever create a Legendary recipe it better contain bacon as one of the ingredients. I'm just sayin'.

Blessing of protection and morphs heal pets, not a very efficient way to heal them tho.

so for each pet summon'd, have it be that the caster looses 10% of there max hp, and the pet gains 20% of the casters max hp. If caster dies, pets go poof, so if your talking pvp, your pets don't get 1 hit, but to balance out them having more hp, you get less. So you cant have a crazy high hp tank running around with pets dealing high dmg.
