1.6 Class abilities stamina OR magicka....

I know it's been suggested before, but I'll do it again here.
ZOS Please base our class ability damage off of what ever stat is higher, Magica OR stamina.
I am not very happy with the new morphs that use stamina INSTEAD of magicka. In fact I pretty much have to re-do my Nightblade because of it. I'm magicka based and some of my core bread and butter abilities were taken from me. I can't play the way that I have enjoyed playing for months. =(
I'm wondering if "balance" could be better achieved if ALL ability damage in the game was based off of stamina OR magicka (which ever is higher). If the resource pools stayed the same. Weapons still use stamina, spells still use magicka to determine how many times you can use any given ability, but the damage is based on your highest stat...

    I agree with you. It seems to go against the game's mantra "Play as you want"

    I can see why they made some of those changes from a logical point of view.

    As an example: Surprise attack, seeing as the morph reduces armor.

    With that said, the Ambush change specifically would irritate the living crap out of me if I favored a magicka focused NB.

    However, I also see that it would be bad for them to let us choose ALL class abilities resource. Could you imagine some classes abilities having the option of either resource?

    Some of the skills that I would hate to see with this option off the top of my head would be.

    Heals
    Damage shields
    Escape tools.

    And many more I could be specific on, however I don't want to enflame any particular class.

    Characters: All of them, both Stamina and Magicka.
