Standardized buffs ruin potions.

As an alchemist I'm kind of not liking the standardized buff system, who's going to buy spellpower potions when they give the same buff as Entropy or Power Surge or a number of other skills and skill morphs, as well as the same buff as magelight and inferno and other skills and skill morphs? The potion might save you a skill bar slot, but the benefit of the potion only lasts 25s on a 45s cd vs being able to have the buff up all the time.

Even Tri pots, one of the few potions that will still retain some value because of their initial restoration effect, are losing potency due to the fact that their lingering regeneration effects won't stack with things like green dragon blood, which a DK tank will pretty much always have active (as it increases incoming healing)

Please consider removing potions from the standardized buffs, or else Tripots and invisibility pots will be the only potions still retaining any value in the game.

I have to agree. Potions need a rework.1.6 makes many of them useless.

Potion buffs just need to stack on top of skill buffs, period. Either that, or they need to have 100% uptime like the skills can be 100% uptime.

I can semi agree, however I think there is still a use for those potions so you don't have to stack on an ability. If you run a dual wield but don't want to run 2 hander for the brutality buff, then the potion can fill that out.

I would like to see more utility to potions, but I've wanted to see more done and to be use able outside of weapon crit, spell power, tripots, and detection potions.

If you wanted to make the pots still viable and useful though, give them both the major and minor buffs for the speed and weapon crit pots. then these should still help
