Mobs much harder 1.6

It seems this problem stems from the fact that everything got a 10x to its value including mob attacks and their hps except our hp only got 5-6x increased. Im routinely getting one shotted by craglorn mobs on my NB with 30 into health with med armor. It seems we inadvertently reverted back to the days of very tough veteran leveling. Is this intended? What are others experiencing?

    Everything in general beside light armor was buffed up. Also many things were lowered because you will gain them back with Champion points. After a little time and champion points you will be just as effective as before minus the armor buffing. After that you will only become stronger threw more Champion Points

    And what about the pre-veteran level content where Champion Points aren't an option? Has anyone tested that?

    I just spent several hours testing out a low-40s NB, as well as a mid-30s DK. Both are in good gear (blues to purples), and I consider myself pretty good with them.

    On both characters, I find that solo PvE is now a joke. Even the mobs that were considered slightly tougher, such as mammoths and giants, where I previously *might* take damage, I am now almost guaranteed to end the fight at full health.

    Against groups, however, things change significantly.
    Whether it's a public dungeon or a dolmen, tackling groups of mobs is now very nasty. Granted, it was never really easy before, but I find it an exercise in frustration now.
    For example, my 42 NB jumping into a group of 5 or 6 level 40s, for example, is now 3/4 dead after their first volley: the caster mobs are using what I can only presume is light attacks, as there wasn't a windup to interrupt at all, and each one was hitting for about 1700 damage. Assuming I start the fight with an insta-kill on one mob, that's still 4 or 5 mobs, which is potentially 8700 damage in less than a second. And assuming one survives that, even with refreshing path, swallow soul, and potions, I can't heal enough or kill enough mobs before the next volley to survive.

    My DK fared a little better, as he always did, given that he can insta-heal 33% of his life, and root any melee mobs for a quick breather, but he still died more often than I ever had on live.

    Granted, things have changed, and I don't expect to cakewalk through dungeons after a few hours of testing, but is this really WAI? Seems as though public dungeons now require a team of at least 2+ (if not more), whereas before a very good player could solo quite a bit of them.

    Every single mob group in the game is a joke now. Go either full magicka or stamina, stack regeneration and cost reduction, block cast, laugh, cry, cancel your sub, deinstall the game. Problem solved. There are a couple of threads here now regarding this issue.

    That being said, the game is broken as f*** now. If you don't believe that, try for yourself.

    Oh I forgot: Shield stacking is also pretty important. But that's it. Zero skill required for the patch.

    It's cause you've been nerfed in 1.6, you have to invest in the champion system to make up for ground they took away from 1.5. Overall you do less dmg, have less max stats and regen, etc..
