Jewelry Enchantment Scaling

Is there a problem with Jewelry Enchant Scaling? With a Legendary Magicka Regneration Enchantment on my Jewelry I am only receiving +53 per 1 Second Magicka Regeneration. With 20,000 Magicka Pool, it would take FOREVER to Regenerate the 1000+ Magicka I need to cast a spell or ability.

It seems to me all of enchanting took a big nerf as it relates to the new system, Jewelry being the worst for me as well.

    Is broken.

Okay well not broken, but so horribly ineffective they may as well remove it. Enchants for your rings and necklace didn't get the x10 nerf, your overall stats on 1.6 should be lower if you compare them to 1.5, even if they inflated the numbers, your overall stats are lower... Gotta invest in the champion system to make up for it.

Base stats are much lower now..
(~1200 Magicka / Stamina at live, 8800 at pts)
Health is much lower too and enchantments are nerfed..
Dmg and costs of skills aren't multiplicated by 10 either..

In total you got lower stats, but lower costs and it will rain one hit kills in PvP.

This is very, very, very disappointing. 48 spell damage on a legendary v14 glyph? Set bonuses provide 171. Even stacking 3 doesn't equal this amount; wtf ZOS? If this is intentional I don't understand the logic behind it. Why make jewelry enchants less-influential to builds? They make up 3 of our total gear slots.

@zos should I report this as a bug, or is this right?

On the PTS with the gimplate I had 1.3k magicka regeneration. A lot more is doable with the right gear I guess. Nevertheless, the numbers were not scaled evenly across the board. Maybe this is what ZOS calls rebalancing.

I keep finding other things that have broken scaling, crit potions, gear enchants, and so on. We just need to bring it up here on the forums and make sure that it is looked in to.

Spell Power currently is also in the same boat. 160ish spell power from two rings and amulet enchanted with the best enchant and it only increased damage and healing by 3.7% on average for all abilities with a +/- 0.16% margin of error.

Now take magicka reduction, 600 magicka reduction from all three sets, add in my Breton racial, light armor value and Seducer armor set and my spells, many of them are in the 300-400 mana range with 30k mana. I can cast literally forever with Health Funnel and Rapid Regen as well as Healing Springs (which I could cast forever prior to 1.6 anyway).

Would probably be easier if there was a sort of player-made Known Issues type of thread that is more concise than random musings.

i like the change as it gives you options bcuz you dont feel the need to HAVE TO HAVE SPELL/WEAPON damage glyphs now and im all about diversity but people who want spell/weapon damage can still choose it imo i think this change is for the best even if it might be a bug

So basically you think it's better now, because no matter what choice you make, it doesn't really do anything at all.

    Gotcha.

thats how the crybaby pugnoob casuals they're trying to get money from feel. The whole industry is going downhill, and fast.

Pretty soon, you'll have to have an IQ of LESS than 85 in order to play elder scrolls, because if you're >85, you'll be too logical and nothing will make any sense.

There were plenty of choices before, and they were actually meaningful. I'm sorry if you thought it was "SPELL DAMAGE OR LOSE", but that was never the case.

In fact, if you had the money for it, potion speed glyphs have always parsed as the highest dps in the game. That was my personal choice, but they removed potion speed enchants entirely in 1.6...

Regen and Cost Reduction were also popular choices, though the latter became less so once people learned about the diminishing returns on cost reduction.

So basically, we went from a handful of meaningful choices to 0 meaningful choices. May as well throw darts at a board and pick your glyphs that way now, as it won't really make a difference anyway.

And somehow, you believe this to be the right direction to be going? Personally, I disagree.
