How much does it cost to launder the stolen item?

Hi All,

Question to those who did launder the stolen items at the fence - how much does it cost and whether it depends on the stolen item price/quality?

It looks like you get 85-90% of the item value. Things that sell for 6gp, you get 5gp. Things that sell for 130gp, you get 123gp. Note I have only a limited sample to go by. Better quality items sell for more of course.

Laundering an item is crazy expensive. I didn't write down any numbers but it cost more to launder the item then the item was worth I believe.

So, about double the value is what you will pay to launder.

Most things I have found worthy of being laundered are provisioning items that create the purple recipes.
And if you like playing dress-up, there are some fun clothing items to be found.
(not worn as a costume though, they actually replace your gear and have "0" stats, so not really helpful in battles)

It is not expensive to launder.
