[Video] VR Dungeon trash is ridiculously OP & block stamina drain NOT OK for PVE

    well my bad... i read the topic saying that there is a video proving tanks can't tank so I thought the one in the video was the tank :blush:
    Anyways how much stamina had the tank? he had champion points in block or stamina regen ¿? they said that if you wanted to be a tank in 1,6 you had to build for it, also i am pretty sure that now some pulls aren't just meant for just tankblocking.

    Yeah, 23k HP and all the rest in stamina so that's loads actually as HP is fairly low. Not sure how the CP was distributed but I'm fairly sure to block cost reduction, stam regen, extra armor etc. Runs out in about 3-4 seconds when getting hit by multiple enemies. You can also see it on me, I'm not a tank but for me I survive about 1 second with aggro and on live I can survive much much better than that even if the tank dies. As soon as block drops those spiders hit for like 15K damage a second on full heavy armor with passives etc. It's crazy!

    The damage is *sort of* fine if you can block, but if you can't block then the damage needs to be tuned down. One of either needs to happen, or a little bit of both, I don't mind either way but if this game is going to continue to be fun it better not launch like this. ^^

    Sorry for bumping, but please ZOS we need some sort of clarification. Is the change in block cost intended? Is the amount of damage the trash mobs output intended? Will this be rebalanced?

    We've already had comments about how certain VR dungeon trash is harder than Vet DSA on the PTS.. something is off here.

    You have all those classes maxed out and great Trial times. You're obviously very skilled at the game. So why scoff at the idea of sheeping mobs? Is it just the pure monotony of it? Or is it that the rewards aren't good enough to justify the time investment?

    ZOS, give these folks some better loot at the end of these slogs! :trollface:

    It's obvious Block costs needs to be rebalanced @ZOS.

    If anything blocking should cost even more. There are people in 1.6 that can hold block forever and never run out of stamina.

    You again and your isolated encounter with a supposed player who could block you and your mates forever in PvP... if that is really what happened (as you mentioned in the other post) it can only be a bug, so I suggest you report it instead of posting incoherences when a fully geared tank runs out of stamina in 4 seconds by blocking 2 or 3 mobs.

    Block cost are stupidly high and need to be tuned down for PvE to be playable at all.

    I am pretty sure they meant that you could no longer tank in light armor. Not that in heavy armor you would die in 3 seconds unless you have the perfect gear and setup (then you could survive for 10 seconds maybe? ;).

    And to be nitpicky, AoE CC and damage migitation abilities were clearly used in this pull already.

    It's not just the veteran dungeons either. The lowbie dungeons and public dungeons are just as nasty.

    And those characters don't have access to Champion Points, either.

    I tested out my tank just seeing what I could do min/maxing health and stam. The most stamina I could crank out was 21k (with every point into health and every glyph into stamina) on my DK tank in hist bark/footman/blood spawn. and because of that my health was like 23k which is nowhere near enough for tanking in 1.6

    Idk what happened when they scaled stats up bit everything is hitting like absolute trucks and stamina loss per block is just down right ridiculous. as a healer, I cannot block while healing in dungeons, trials at all. if I do, I have 0 stamina left for critical blocks, dodge rolls, oh **** moments. Magicka feels great and balanced like on the live server. Health seems to be good too but everything just hits so hard. The atronach boss in AA for example is hitting people for 22-23k. Bogdan in vet EH, hits for 18k when he does his jump stomp to clear fire. As a healer im okay throwing all attributes into health and glyphing for magicka but tanks are having a hard time right now having the health they need to tank and having a stamina pool that isn't gone after a single taunt.

    These are the numbers we've been looking for. I had already figured that the minimum Health for DPS/Healers would be 20-22K (which would work for Vet Dungeons it seems) but it's looking more like 24-25K for trials is gonna be the low end. That's going to be difficult for DPS/Healers to achieve and also get a respectable Stamina/Magicka pool in which to do their jobs with. My DPS/Healing specs have ~21K Health and ~24K Magicka, both reasonable and my DPS is on par with what others are reporting. However, if I have to drop 3K Magicka just to get enough Health not to be 1-shot by a standard mechanic in Trials that will change things. I should note I have ~2750 Health on Live with both DPS/Healing gear (without Cyro buff) so I'm already in the range of acceptable Health for Trials.
