I just ran through a dungeon I farm on live with my summoner build. Usually I can keep the same pets through the entire dungeon although the twilight will likely die at the boss. I was constantly summoning them or had to immediately use my restro stave skills after pulling the mob. I think they are doing more damage but since I can't get add-ons to work it is hard to say. Regardless if they are or not if they are dead then the potential to do damage is nullified. Has anyone else noticed that even the familiar/clanfear is dying quickly?

    Nope, I got a 5 piece necropotence set. Bound aegus gives more magic. Daedric Prey + Empowered Ward makes your pets uber, they will eat vet 10 giants and mammoths for breakfast, soloed a world boss in the rift vet 10 area no prob , my pets never died once.

    Imo they are tough as nails now, finally I have wanted good summons and now we got them.

    Just give me the dremora lord summon from skyrim with the same voice with a huge flaming daedric greatsword and I'd love it!

    That is interesting that this was on a level 19 it is good to hear they will get better. The thing is if they die so easy at the lower levels people who are just beginning may dismiss them and move on to a different build. At the moment on live they are mainly used for soloing 1-50 from what I heard. I will switch skills around on the bars maybe it will make a difference.
