1.6 still didn't fix smart heals...

...they still need to prioritize group members first so that we can heal who we want to heal when we want to heal them.

I think it has been proven already that the old addage "when hell freezes over..." is applicable to this long ignored request. Your "smart heals" are up to you to create by learning the content, prioritization on aura heals rotations, anticipation of damage spikes and appropriate resource management for the OH-crud moments. All else is a pipe-dream because they have proven zero interest in changing the healing system in any way.

This was never going to be a thing. It was debated in another thread with people on both sides of the issue. I'm in favor of keeping the current mechanism and not having it be group based.

In my opinion, healers should be able to control whom they are trying to heal. If they can't have that ability at LEAST have the heal sent to the person with the lowest health taking the healer into consideration. So if two other people around the healer are at 65% health and the healer is at 30% health, the healer should be targeted and one of the others. Not both of the others leaving the healer to die.

How about hard targeting, could I at least be able to click a name in the group frame or an npc/pc and hard target them so i know they're going to get the next heal? cuz that would solve it too.
