Today was DK PvP day. Did about a half hour small skirmish testing. Three things became glaringly obvious within that short half hour.
Radiant Destruction needs a nerf, badly. Death recaps of over 24k damage from a skill that can be chain cast. Not even soul assault does this much damage, and thats an ultimate.
Crashing to desktop is a major issue, I crashed four times in that half hour for seemingly no reason. I dont crash this often on the live server and my settings are identical.
DK doesnt feel weak, it still stands up well vs anything solo, group diving is tougher, but a lot of this is skewed by point 1 because a certain templar decided chain casting soul assaults and radiant destruction was the new i-win build, and apparently that is the case.
Summary - from early testing the new templar skill is over the top and needs brought down in base damage by 25-50% to be in line with other damage dealers and executes of the same category and class.
