The new tutorial

OK, ran thru the New tutorial, some impressions:

-overall liked a lot of it, such as the New layout of the route to the prophet's cell
-I don't see the point in having you loot the fallen dremora for a weapon, when there's no Choice of another weapon, and the one you loot (greatsword) might not be the weapon you want to use/Level. What was wrong about picking a weapon in the forge?? Suggestion: Bring back the forge as it was in the first betas - racks With each main type of weapon (two-hander, sword/Shield, dual-wield daggers, resto staff, destro staff, bows), and add armour racks With ligh/med/Heavy. Gives you the ability to Level the weapon/armour you want to use right away.
-Why change the stuff With the prophet and such? I'd say keep it as it is now, where the prophet appears in Your cell, then that Argonian breaks you out and leads you to the Forge, and then you can have Lyris appear just after the fight With the forgemaster (just as she appears now just after you fight the firsk skeleton).
-consider moving the arrival point in Tamriel back to the starter islands, as it was originally.

    I agree with the whole weapon looting thing, it seems silly.

    As for the way it used to be, meh it is what it is.

    I too think the starting points should be moved to the starter zones.

    I agree that the starting points should be back to the starter islands. I think the whole reason two hand weapon was use because it is much clearer to learn the basic mechanics of the game. I still miss choosing your weapons but it would not feel right with the story they got for this tutorial. I found my go to weapon anyway off of the enemies and chests on the way to the end of the tutorial.

    I think giving the option for at least one staff, the bow, and 2H would be a good compromise.

    Or just give the player the weapon that goes along with their default racial passive.

    Not all races have a weapon style as their passive, though...
    (Bretons have Light Armour, Khajiit have Medium Armour and Orcs have Heavy Armour).

    Now the tutorial is what it should have been from the start imo, alot more fun, and makes more sence, but I agree about the weapons, I hate melee, and want to choose what weapon to use, same with the reward for completing the tutorial, I get a bow every time and a leather or cloth chest, give us one of ea weapon atleast, or make it a dialog option to pick type of weapon and type of armor.
