So now using an Invisibility+Speed potion would heal all my stats?

You keep changing racial skills with your updates since release. Without softcaps 10% to max stats is even more powerful, how about giving us a race change?

It seems they removed all the Potion boost passives from game.

They also removed Potion effectiviness buff from NightBlade passives.... Replacing it with "very usefull" 8 ultimate points when using pot.

They didnt even mention that bullcrap change on patch notes.

P.S. Few MONTHS of work on patch notes and so many mistakes in it ? Just.....ZOS...

So my Argonian nightblade with all possible potion passives and buffs is going to work differently now? But it was so fun. :'(

What is more - you've lowered critical chance from class passives and armour sets but Kahjiit's passive 6% more crit remained unchanged!

If you make any changes be consistent.

Since game release ZOS kept telling us that race choice is only a cosmetic thing, but as we can see it is not. They have never said that about classes.

Seriously, there are many of us who made Argonian NB Alchemists w/ Potion Speed glyphs and this patch pretty much completely wrecks my favorite character. : /

So what is the status on potion cooldown reduction and potion strength increasing glyphs?

    Argonian changed, Nightblade changed.

Did potion builds get nerfed across the board in order to make crown shop potions more appealing or something?

I ground an Argonian Nightblade to level 50 just because of the pot bonuses. Now I wish that I had rolled Khajiit.

I liked the racial change, but the loss of the nb potion effectiveness and the long cool down on pots also completely ruined the reason I made my nightblade as well. Here is hoping they allow race changes soon

I agree. If they are going to wreck racial passive you should get a free race change.

This racial passive change makes absolutely no sense.

I mean, I'm sure ZOS had a reason for removing the potion boost passives from the game. Hopefully, it is not because they "couldn't make it work" with the buff/debuff overhaul.

To give Argonians a free 6% self heal to all attributes whenever drinking a potion is... well... odd. It's lore-breaking, which bothers some people alot (me, not so much).

More importantly, it just doesn't fit in anywhere. No other class, skill line, or buff provides this benefit. It is the opposite of a cosmetic change - it is completely unique.

We have been asking for a +healing done bonus for months. In general, we have been asking for passives that are more useful. I feel pretty crappy when I get critted by a Khajiit or out-magicka'd by a Breton. A boost to healing recieved is great for a tank - but none of our other passives nor the lore make people think tank. The lore says assassin, the lore says healer. The potion effectiveness applied to poisons could have been awesome. Now we get... something you threw in because you couldn't think of anything else? Thanks...

I'm not sure how this pans out for my Argonian DK Tank, whether the amount healed is equivalent to before or not.

The number bloat for hp disguises whether it's a nerf or buff or whatever.

Its decent for a passive, as now you get the bonus on any potion you use which is nice.

However the setup suffers now simply because Nightblades lost 30% potion effectiveness and a bloody 15 seconds tacked onto potions period.

Well, for my argonian DK tank, it's a slight buff, instant HP restored, due to having a high max hp pool, and because I have geared him to have fairly high magicka as well the magicka gain is a slight buff, but it is a nerf to stamina gain, due to having a low pool.

It's something that can be worked with you just have to balance your max attributes to where it's a minor buff across the board.

However that's only the instant restored.

The buffs to regen are all standardized buffs so they don't stack with things like green dragon blood, and of course the 45 sec cd hits everyone.

Compared to other racials, 8% that is tied to a 45 sec cd that is also tied to your wallet is complete and utter garbage.

The only time it wasn't garbage before was when you stacked it on top of NB / Alchemy bonuses.

Now it's just trash. Argonians may have gotten the shaft for racials, but I was happy to find something to make it feel as powerful as Imperial or Dark Elf for the niche that I was using it for.

Now it's not even remotely comparable, no matter how you cut it. Just add it to the list of other trash racials Argonians have, and it's a joke.

Sure, sure, let's balance racials. And by "balance racials", clearly I mean to make the worst race's even worse while buffing the Imperial / Khajit / Dark Elf / Breton / High Elf master races by removing caps.

    Makes ZOSense!

Don't forget about nerfing every crit bonus in the game except Khajiit racial bonuses.

I've now discovered my Argonian NB magicka build is nerfed on several fronts.

ZOS apparently can't fix things without nerfing other players HARD.

yeah, due to racial changes and lifting of caps, Argonian went from one of the best tank races in the game to a mediocre at best race.

At launch, you looked at the racials and saw that well, Imperial and Orc stats would just hit overcharge faster, you looked at Nord and figured well, I already hit the armor soft cap just wearing heavy armor, so an armor bonus probably isn't going to help me, same with Breton's spell resist, so while Argonian's health bonus was pretty weak, it was okay because you'd still hit overcharge, and Argonian got more effect from potions AND received more healing, so it seemed like a good setup.

I guess my first hint that being an early adopter of this game wasn't such a good idea was when they made Nord racial become reduced incoming damage instead of armor bonus.

But.. I suppose that was just equal footing.. 6% more incoming healing, 6% reduced incoming damage, same health bonus.

But now with the lifting of the cap, Imperial is easily the best tank race, with double the max health bonus of any other race and tied for highest max stamina.

It's a real shame my highest level character is my tank, too, so I don't want to just delete him and remake Imperial.

I more or less built my entire character around Super potions for magika regen... I'm an Argonian Nightblade master Alchemist... The first thing I noticed when I got to pts was the Amphibious and Catalyst passives changing. Having read the patch notes, and not seeing anything about it in there, I was shocked. Now, instead of having my super effective spell power potions, I have a normal potion with 8 ultimate gain and 6% to all stats... I'm not impressed with this.

I can see the need to change things, since they it would be hard to give you a buff like major sorcery and then add a percentage onto that while making sure that other things that applied major sorcery didn't just refresh the timer on that super buff... But I am not terribly interested in gaining ultimate from my potions in order to try to replace the effectiveness. That's 8 Ultimate every 30 seconds... NOT IMPRESSED.
He's the healer Tamriel deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hurt his tank. Because he can heal them to full. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful rejuvinator. A Cloaked Healer.
