I've been playing around with some ideas in my head since launch and I think it's a good time to present them to the devs and community to see what you think.
* Regarding owning resources or keeps in PvP-
I think these should be used as a guild-wide buff, or benefit. If a guild owns a mine, for example, they would receive an inspiration boost to blacksmithing, and instead of needing, say, 15 voidsteel ingots to make a cuirass, lower it to 12. Also, maybe have them receive slightly more ore from harvest nodes. This would be the same for lumbermills and farms, with woodworking and clothing respectively. As far as the keeps go, either receive bonuses to all the equipment crafts, or maybe a boost in combat stats.
* Horses-
Have the ability to have 2 people ride a mount. Great for roleplayers and those who do not have a horse who are grouped with someone who does.
* Making landscapes more accessible-
It's no secret that part of the allure of the previous elder scrolls games was being able to climb mountains and not have their progress hindered by landscape. Something I believe we'd all like to do, is to be able to walk on rooftops without magically being propelled away, and to be able to traverse rugged terrain a little easier. Alongside this comes the whole underwater access, which hopefully will be coming in a later patch. I was thinking that being underwater should have the same effect as being silenced, but weapons can still be used.
*Dyes -
Shields, costumes, and improvements to the armor we can already dye. ( Please don't ever let us dye our pets, we don't need any neon purple monkeys running around.)
*Unique armor/weapons-
Now, some of these look amazing...but...they are never equipped because they are incredibly weak. I'd suggest taking the whole Diablo 2 approach to unique items, and have them all have unique stats and abilities. E.G. Having a nightblade find a special shield that allows it to use bolt escape, or a Templar who finds a rare dagger that lets him/her impale people. If the skill add is not feasible, perhaps give them a one piece set bonus of sorts.
*Cosmetics-
When I created my main, there was the bug that did not allow me to edit my character the way I wanted him to look. Implementing a sort of, magically change the way I look function would really appeal to those who regret making those impulse cosmetic decisions.
----If this thread goes well, I'll be posting more of my ideas. Let me know what you all think.
