Blocking magic.

So today on ZoS live (1-16-2015) they said blocking is getting some changes in update 6 and not changes for the better. You'll now be able to block magical AoEs and most to all magical attacks now and a lot more skills.
So is this ZoS way of saying block casting is never gonna go away and that the only way to play now is to block cast? Cause that's how I'm seeing. ZoS in my opinion want this buff to blocking to work you're gonna have to get rid of block casting and/or 360 blocking. Other wise and can't believe I'm saying this but blocking would become way to over powered and those already hard to kill enemy would become impossable to kill.
So the senario is either one guy going around block casting all the broken skills like are now but taking half damage from everything being even harder to kill or every one block casting and no one dieing making everything a stalemate.
