Rawl'kah is Overpowered

Rawl'ka isnt overpowered, it's khajiit, it's meant to be that way.

Khajiit are just smarter than the rest of you, and we construct towns with better layouts.

Rawl'Kah was a very popular trading spot for AD before guild stores even came out, Its where almost every auction/event takes place. Even if you aren't trading its a nice spot to hang out at, most Vet AD players sit there because its the last place in our faction and don't want to go to other factions.

So when guild stores came around the best AD trade guilds fought to set up there because they knew it would get the most sales there. I don't know where EP and DC's popular hangout spots are but there should be some decent-good trade guilds there.

Problem with Rawl are the heal spamming kiddos.

Shornhelm rocks for DC, love having a cooking fire right at the banker. Bal Foyen rocks for EP, everything there except your stable. So for some of my EP chars I would have them visit Stormhold in Shadowfen once a day for the stable which is located incredibly close to the wayshrine, then return to Bal Foyen. Takes about 18 seconds without sprinting to return to banker from Bal Foyen wayshrine, but who's counting

Correct, placing those 5 Guild Store vendors right in between the wayshrine and the bank was sheer genius, now please make all cities like that... Wayshrine (walk 1 step) 5 Guild stores (walk 3 steps and through a door) Bank.

First of all... DC for life, Breton Master Race.

Second of all, Shornhelm of Rivenspire is a god send compared to anything else in all of the DC maps. Shornhelm is probably one of the most bustling cities I've ever been too, everything is exactly where it should be and generally everything I ever need to do in a single city can be done in a single circular run around the city, starting from left at the bank. Shornhelm is always full of players wanting to trade, converse, and even meet up to set up a party.

I will admit that Rawl'kha is much busier and significantly more crowded, but I believe that's more because of the size of the city, Shornhelm is larger than Rawl'kha so the players still spread out a bit more and thus are not concentrated into single spots. It gives the appearance that there are much less people but I think the numbers aren't too far apart, just the distance between shops and crafting hubs.

Third, why would you want to destroy a beautiful thing? Every MMO I've ever played always has one city that is considered the "Perfect Town" which is often the most simply designed map where everything is right near each other. The "Perfect Town" is what you want more of, not less of. It's the area where everyone goes to talk, find parties, find new people to hang out with, make complicated transactions between players, and most importantly, it's where all the cool people hang out. If anything, the "Perfect Town" encourages deeper socialization within an MMO (which I've clearly seen in Rawl'kha and Shornhelm) which from other threads I've read on here is apparently a huge issue.
If you take away the perfect town, you take away the efficiency of meeting new people, groups, guilds, and traders.

Fourth, Every Alliance should have one and only one perfect city, obviously there should be the various weird hidden gem cities that are almost perfect (as someone else said "Betnikh") but the importance of having a small amount of perfect cities, is due to player base. We have to admit that our player base is rather small... but when you enter Rawl'kha or Shornhelm, our player base looks much larger, people are easier to find and thus socialization is much more consistent because everyone knows that this city is the most efficient. If more perfect cities are added the player base spreads out to the other locations, which produces less of a concentration of people in the popular cities which turns into appearing empty, making it harder to find help or assistance from another player within a city where it actually matters.

All in all, I believe that how Rawl'kha and Shornhelm are currently is exactly how they should be when compared to other cities. Adding or subtracting perfect cities will interrupt the overall consistency of the player bases appearance and would in fact make the socialization aspect of this MMO much weaker than it should ever be.

Explain to me why a level 3 needs access to a guild trader with prices that no level 3 could afford if they didn't already have a Vet level character on the account? For that matter, AD also has Kenarthi's Roost with 4 or 5 traders for level 3's in a small crafting town with a bank as well....At least these traders sell level appropriate gear for said level 3's.

This is false. Vulkhel Guard is just as good if not better for motifs. The best Dwmer farm is common to all factions as it is the Fighters Guild personal quest.

What nobody here realizes is that there are no dwemer ruins in the entirety of the Aldmeri Dominion territories. Sure, we have a nice trading post (thanks to khajiit, master traders of tamriel), but we have no place to easily farm dwemer scrap and motifs.

Actually I have been to both places and I would say Shornhelm is just as easy to get around as Rawl'kha. Plus, it has one of the best looting locations in the game, even better than the Rawl'kha Inn. But since you think it's a silly argument, I'll let you find that out for yourself

Wayrest Bank has a collection of 20 cabinets, desks and trunks all within an area without stairs or doors. Vulkhel Guard has 11, about half as many, how is that remotely just as good much less better? And comparing a dungeon that is only accessible as part of a non repeatable quest with a one hour reset timer that prevents characters from progressing that quest line AND that most people completed long ago to dungeons with no reset timer that can be farmed all day long? Seriously? Sorry but I don't consider that in any way to be the best.
