Dear Nords: tell me about your damage reduction

I have a simple question, but it involves some light testing. Nords, I'd like to know if your passive that reduces damage (Brawny, is it?) counts simultaneously as armor and spell resistance. Can somebody test for me what their Armor/Spell Res values are before placing points in this passive and then after?

It doesn't buff either. It's a flat damage reduction, and affects all sources of incoming damage.

(It used to be a flat armor buff, but it was changed several patches back.)

Its a straight up damage reduction against everything.

I myself miss when it gave extra armor, but this passive is ok I suppose
