Dual Wield Dagger - crit changed?

Am I crazy,
A month-and-a-half ago, I started dual wielding daggers. I did so because I could see using my addons that both weapon crit AND spell crit were going up. I watched spell crit get affected by one dagger or by two daggers. I accounted for precise by using two sharpened daggers in my experiment.
Today I only see weapon crit going up with dual wield daggers.
Was I seeing things a month ago? Can anyone else shed some light? I know none of us have screenshots of our builds from a month ago but is anyone here able to back me up on what daggers used to do on spell crit?
