    Having been there I understand your feelings against your fellow AD but there's just too many of em'. Maybe they should increase the pop caps so they all go back to Thorn. Or try another faction. N'tel has more friends on the EP side than the AD side I think.

    Glourious AD pugs, can't count how many times I rage quit because of them, the fact that I ended campaign on 30sth on leaderboard proves my absolute lack of motivation to play there :(. I understand you all above...

    Thanks for the reply! Cool man, that would be nice to see a stronger presence of DC out on Haderus to even out the heavy AD population. EP has some strong guilds on Haderus, but even with that our medium pop has a hard time holding back an AD locked pop/high pop. From our perspective at least within Phoenix Rising, the AD have been putting up a solid fight and I hope it stays that way. I finally got Emperor for the first time last night, 9 months of hard fighting across many campaigns going back to Wabbajack cycle one (When DC dominated that server). I have to get a huge shout out to my guild mates and of course my Pact mates that made that final push last night! Hope to see you and your brethren out on the battlefield!

    Same drama happened a week ago (maybe 2) on Chillrend. The Emperor system has left an unsavory taste in everyones mouth. The whole system pits you against members of your own alliance. "Do I rez my competitor to save the keep"? "Do I report this keep under attack or farm it till it flips, or lie about it?" "Do I protect the scroll run that needs me or farm AP?"

    Then there is the expectation for you to abdicate so others can get it, or the expectation that you leave the server because you already have former emp. That same expectation leads to hate tells, and drama when you don't participate in the emp pimping system.

    The whole system is a sour one. Great idea, bad implementation. It should be a position of leadership where you want certain players to have it because they work for the alliance. But to get it you have to work beside or against your alliance and then abdicate it if you want any peace.

    If it gives you any comfort, I was a little mad at myself too yesterday. The walls were not fully repaired thanks to you, and I see that one guy with a balllista. "I can take one guy with a ballista!" Then you all pop out of stealth and squash me like a fly...

    Why oh why did I not stay inside the keep?! I would have had another chance at defending it. There was this other AD of course who came to help just a few minutes earlier, but I don't even know what level he or she was. By the time I got back, the keep was already red. :(

    That was me having to break that wall back down alone while you and Kills duked it out for awhile. I then had to rez Kills while you were repairing inner wall, figuring we were both about to die, but the rest of our group got back just in time. Good fight and thought all was lost when both healers were stuck under the collapsed wall.

    All right, my fuse has been blown today. I am so ticked off I am literally fuming. Why the heck did ZOS give a class an ability that gives them a 100% chance to knockback someone using ANY weapon attack?? both melee AND ranged?? So basically this said class(which will not be named) can just stand there and be completely immune to all of my attacks, and the only way to surpass that one ABILITY is to completely change my play style.. that is such bullcrap.

    Im sorry, but I refuse to play anymore PvP until this ability is removed from the game(which I think will be ) I have dealt with many ridiculous things, but I will NOT fight people that are completely immune to everything I do. that is Overpowered, that is unbalanced... it is just.... /sigh...

    OK. rage over. I will not return to PvP until this change is made. Good luck to all of you haderus people, it was fun. see y'all in a month or whenever 1.6 goes live.

I was hoping somebody else would get the crown but her. There are some really good players in the top 10. Alas, that was not to be. :(

    The zerglings were talking about "democratically" electing the next emperor by ensuring they have the "right person" on top before they took over the ring. It seems they were successful.

    I doubt its NightBlade and I don't recall having a skill like that, so Im going to guess you're talking about Templars.

    Maybe sorcerers? This one tends to get knocked over a lot by them.

    Incidentally for those nighty nights who can't find room to run immovable this one recommends the way of the arena armor. Between that, blur, and veil of blades this one becomes surprisingly survivable in skirmishes unless four or more people focus down on the poor humble , and now dead, khajiit. Though you'll go through weapon power pots like a fat breton goes through candied eel livers.

    Emperor system reminds me of legendary weapons in WoW. Always a TON of guild drama over who got the first weapon, actually had people leave the guild over it and end friendships!

    Deathdealer Selene? Hopefully she'll be better than the last several AD Emperors. All the others that took over after Tyndreos Lacedion V, except Alurvelve, have been awful.

    I don't know but this sounds more like the Death's Wind Set than a class ability

    It gives a 100% chance to... im going to say "knock back" my weapon attacks.(I think its called blinding flashes) Meaning I have to completely change my playstyle just to fight it, ONE ability, which is utter bullcrap.

    The only anger I have felt today was towards the AD morons who accused me of cheating. It was quite a bit of anger for someone like me, although it was still just above mild rage, and not anywhere close to the homicidal fury those morons deserved.

    Don't worry Cuddler, I got alllll the homicidal fury you don't. I can ensure you if I had enough piano wire to go around most AD players would learn the meaning of a thin line >:)

    Having been there I understand your feelings against your fellow AD but there's just too many of em'. Maybe they should increase the pop caps so they all go back to Thorn. Or try another faction. N'tel has more friends on the EP side than the AD side I think.

    Reflective scales made me learn multiple weapon skill lines to get away from my original setup (ranged DW and Bow). It's not the worst thing, although I agree it is annoying that one skill wipes out an entire playstyle.

    Does Immovable stop the knockback of Blinding Flashes? I suspect it would but I understand not wanting to adjust a hotbar that has been working really well. I remember some of my guildies talking about Flashes on TS and how it should be used more so maybe it's gaining popularity.

    I learned my lesson, though. I'm leveling up a DK alt right now and he's wearing all three armor types with training trait (2 light, 3 med, 2 heavy) and working on two weapon skills at once. Once he finishes learning one weapon to where everything I want is at least morphed, I'll pick up a third weapon, probably resto (to go with 2H and bow) so he's ready to pvp by level 50 or v1 or whatever we have by the time that happens.

    Congrats to Selene on Emp. She wasn't even in the top 10 last night when I left, but 10th place was only 35k AP or so. I was 5th for a brief moment in time, highest I've ever been. Unfortunately real life responsibilities keep me from being able to dedicate myself to trying to earn the title myself and I doubt that a character that's primarily a healer would make a great emp anyway ;)

    Really? Hehe, never heard that but then if Anurraame is in Haderus, she is usually solo there, my grouped play is in thorn.

    What exactly were you being accused off exactly?

    And here I was thinking you were just a decent player on what was the AD buff server. :wink:

    I think that some people that hadn't read Deltia's post on techniques for gaining AP for Emperor decided that early on in the new campaign when Cuddler had 10x the AP of anyone else that he must be cheating or something.

    A good player is a good player, and if you can fight off a small group from a resource solo and get a decent d-tick all for yourself, then you deserve it. I suspect that's what happened and people who had no clue how to AP got angry.

    Edit: also I think some or all of them were joking, but as we know there's no sarcasm font still

    @Cuddler‌ As a DC player I got a taste of your defence on Haderus today at Nickel. Definitely no cheating involved just well organised defence. Nice work. P.S. I hate you ;)
