Agreed, I have no idea wtf is going on... if it's players or if ZOS messed up with a massive memory leak or something. I know players have lagged out the server before but... holy crap. An EP player just Dragonleaped into Faregyl and walked right up to the scroll UNTOUCHED because NPCs didn't attack due to heavy lag... just BS. I don't care that he Dragonleaped in... it's a strategy but it's f&^%ed up when NPCs can't attack him and apparently no one saw him. Lag was so bad we probably couldn't touch his health anyway...

I snapped a picture of that BS Dragonknight. He must have been channeling Mrs Jones when he Dragon leapt through the massive lag.



I even caught him doing a celebratory arm pump after capping it.



ZoS, we must ban all Dragonknights for using their abilities, and we need to ban AD who /wave at Dragonknights who are targeting them for a leap.

There are a lot of probs with pvp right now, lag being a big one and class balance being another. Its for these reasons I'm staying away for awhile.

To get into crux, I'm tired of watching DK solo 5-6 people. Using the correct gear and skills a dragonknight can be unstoppable without 4-5 very skilled players to melt him. As a sorc I have had to resort to shield stacking, mages wrath, velicios curse, and lighting staff attacks to proc disitengration just to kill them.

All of this requiring a significant amount of a skill advantage on my part just to kill him, and I have no way to heal except pots, he has pots and green dragon blood. He had every advantage in the world against me and I still manage to win 5-6 times out of 10. If I make 1 mistake in dead, he can make multiple mistakes and still win.

The correct templar Build is nearly as good with Blazing Shield, ill give templar credit though, eclipse and some of there other skills are not very good in pvp, however, this is the best class to give DK a run for their money in a straight up fight.

Nightblades excell against sorcs and healing templars in light armor, however against most DK in a straight up fight they like the sorc are at a disadvange.

I refuse to roll another took, I don't have time for that, but if I was new coming into this game, no reason not to roll a DK best class in the game bar none, most powerful skills, almost as much heals as templars, tank as all can be, best ulty in the game, can reflect all projectiles, why wouldn't you choose a DK?

Until ZOS gets off their rump and boosts the rest of the classes to be on par with the DK so I'm not at a disadvantage all the time, you wont find me often in pvp anymore playing the kite game.

The day ZOS buffs the other classes and the DK is forced to fight on a level playing field with other classes and can no longer take on 3-4 people at a time will be the loudest whining you ever saw on these forums.

As i said, as sorc I have no WA to self heal outside of pots, try DE during a fight and see how that goes...all the other classes in this game can self heal and use pots in pvp except sorcs, we also have the lowest damage and wirst dps in the game, yet I still managed just over a 10 kd with all these disadvantages.

I hung up my pvp gear in my bank, maybe one day when they actually address balance ill go back in, until then, ill just run dungeons and trials and not be on as much otherwise.

I don't think anyone is complaining about the use of abilities here. I think everyone is upset with the fact that lag makes this an impossible game to play little lone enjoy. Now I would like to draw into question how one player out of the 200 that were there was able to avoid the lag, avoid the NPC's, and interact with a scroll when no one else was able to do anything. Just a thought but maybe someone knows more than they are sharing because no one else was able to do anything during that fight.

More likely. DK leaps up onto unsuspecting player. DK starts running for the scroll when they realize no damage is incoming and they're at full HP still (remember, the lag had been going on for some time by this point and everyone had been seeing 6+ second ability lag -- no mystery). DK picks up scroll and bolts.

iv tried all i can to fight DKs. People can say L2P all they want, but DKs are OP. they can reflect almost all ranged projectiles(this is bad because most people dont seem to realize when scales is up to begin with) they have one of the best self heals in the game, are the best tanks all around, can put out an incredible amount of DPS, and have a counter for almost every situation. none of the other classes have all of this. The best i myself can do is hit them with sparks and hope they dont talons me to death. speaking of talons.... its completly ridiculous right now! as soon as you roll out of it, they can simply put you back in!!! so its either stay in and get burned down by the DoT, or roll out, waste stamina, and just get rooted back in again!!! why people approve of this, is beyond me. this is only one of the things about DKs that make them OP. there are other things, but by now we all know what they are, so i wont waste time naming them.

Talons has a 3 second immunity timer after rolling. If you're not seeing that, please bug report it.

The best i myself can do is hit them with sparks and hope they dont talons me to death. speaking of talons.... its completly ridiculous right now! as soon as you roll out of it, they can simply put you back in!!! so its either stay in and get burned down by the DoT, or roll out, waste stamina, and just get rooted back in again!!! why people approve of this, is beyond me. this is only one of the htings about DKs that make them OP. there are other things, but by now we all know what they are, so i wont waste time naming them.

Talons has a 3 second immunity timer after rolling. If you're not seeing that, please bug report it.

I don't understand how my original post fix the lag or decrease the server population caps got derailed into dragon knight abilities or how to get out of talons. Start your own thread, unless your saying a dragon knight can leap out of the lag and run about as if no lag exist. In that case DK's are OP.
