I don't think that book poll option would work unless you want to whack someone on the head with it. This isn't a universe where mages have to drag grimoirs everywhere they go.

In Cyrodil there are far more advanced (siege) weapons available. Crossbows would make plenty of sense in that regard.

I want Unarmed though, I'd love to be an unarmed medium armor Templar, no need for a Monk class then.

Crossbows were invented by the dwemer according to morrowind, ands so are at the very least in existence. Whether or not their design has been reverse-engineered yet is another matter

As already stated crossbows exist since the dwemer and we already have proof that the light crossbow exists via the fighter's guild tree, so it is unlikely a heavy/siege crossbow doesn't exist.

Weapons skill line ultimate's. DW would have a sort of string of moves into a combo like stream.

Ohmygod, unarmed! There are not enough games that feature unarmed style combat, yet it is integral to the Elder Scrolls game series!
Crossbow wouldn't be bad too, seeing as there is only one choice for ranged physical combat if that is your thing, but there are several choices for melee physical combat.

Unarmed that uses hand wraps as weapon.... no katar, cestus, claw malarkey.

Also ua specific armor

IE chest is tattoo like the alliance symbols or the dragons we have now, and or a harness so we can look like one of the hokuto fighters or eq1 monks

Battle staff is what I've been wanting the most. I don't know why Elder Scrolls games always want me to shoot light out of my staff. It is a big wooden stick. I should be able to smack stuff with it.

Sadly we had to pick only one, but I am a huge fan of pure one-handed fighting/fencing as well. I think one of the neverwinter nights games was the only game, that I can recall, to ever do a solid implementation of this.

Always thought it would be cool if they added spears. They could work like 1-h, have their own skill tree by itself, or you could use them with a shield and just use the normal S&B skills.

1- Strangulate (Only usable from behind, Stun and do high amount of damage over 2s)
2- Rapid Swings (Channel 3 rapid swings. the 3rd swing do 300% damage from the 2 first)
3- Crank Spin (Spin your Nuchaku with momemtum and release the energy on your enemy skull. Wrecking blow mechanic)
4- Rotating Spin (Enter a spin stance - For 6s Deflect (no reflect) all projectile to maximum of 4)
5- Draining Swing (Single target hit - Drain Stamina on hit)

I was thinking spear and shield for more of a Spartan Line as my Templar is a mix of spear (spell) and sword and shield.
There could also be a mix of spell and shield combos.
