Forums language preference/filter still not available

Today's EU server/bad client update debacle has reminded me of an annoying forum limitation.

When are we going to be able to set a language preference, such that the "Recent Discussions" view will only show posts in our language(s) of preference?

It is really this difficult to implement such a basic and commonly found forum feature? It's been asked for since beta.

It's up at the top, but it just makes the language of the forum English (or french or german if you feel like it). People would have a fit if they couldn't browse all the forums they can speak the language of.

Clarification~ by language of the forum I mean the titles like Home, Game Guide, Participated, etc.

I can speak two of the three and I assure you I wouldn't have a fit. But for those who would, what if there was an option to hide languages we don't want to see instead of choosing only one we want?

Anyway, I used to think the forum needed this feature, but I guess I got used to seeing all languages mixed together. There aren't even so many in French and German. The only place where it annoys me is Official News & Patch Notes, though I have to admit it looks much more organized now than it did before.

I'm aware of that setting. I'm asking for an optional language filter. I don't want anyone to lose the ability to browse all the forums of different languages.

I'm asking for a simple option, to allow my recent discussion view to only include languages of my choosing. Sadly, I can only read the English language. So, having to wade through a list of German and French posts, in the "Recent Discussion" view isn't user friendly.

This isn't rocket surgery. Give us a filter, please.

    That would probably work.
