NB Bow in PTS.

Logged on to Test server, tried my NB full Med Vamp/Bow.

Saw a Temp/duel axe.

First round got him off guard, stunned him got him down to 35% health, once he recovered he was full health in no time. Killed me.

After that he was blocking (as always) and destroyed me when he got in range.

Great thing was the Temp, did not leave area, I tried another 5 times.

Killed me with full or close to full health every time. ( Blocking every F'n Time.)
NO SHIELD equipped

In PvE damage is very noticeable and impressive. Not impressed in PvP.

With all the changes made, the root of the problems are not being addressed.

The nerf to stealth damage is fine. It will be OK once they nerf Impenetrable trait.

What needs nerfing is DK and Templar survival, or give Nightblades and Sorcerers betetr healing tools because both the nightblade and sorcerer have no staying power whatsoever.They're really flimsy compared to the ridiculous survival of a DK and the really high healing of a templar who still can dish out great damage with biting jabs.

block and spam is a huge issue.

also, get a melee weapon if he keeps closing on you.(or get a stick and spam crushing shock while blocking:/)

You're really complaining because you couldn't burst a guy down before he could recover? You give Nightblades a bad name. If you don't know how to fight, why didn't you just crippling grasp, dodge roll, mist form away like every other weak ass bow build?

I would say you lack imagination. It's your own fault that you play your toon like a one-trick pony.

I'd say you're missing a few data points to qualify for a valid argument.

- Enemy's max hp
- Enemy's armor type
- Distance from enemy when sniping

Please make arguments with data and facts to support your opinion. Please don't just rage post because you got your ass handed to you by a better player.

Block spamming is an issue but it is very beatable. I would say the NB is the most equipped to beat it as well.

Bow can hit from stealth for 1400+ that is what happens to many templars (and other chars) every day, everty week, etc. You get ganked from snipe for 2-4 shots together with a heal-debuff, etc. etc..

If you are not able to do so, you must lack skill, cause it is happening in pvp every hour. Any know what, none of my templar skill can hit for that much from stealth and I do not have passive (class) skills that help raise my bow-dmg like others..

Actually, people can block while feared.

Do you read what you reply to? He clearly stated hes talking about the changes on the PTS.

adamantium magic sticks can still block while feared., meaning you still barley damage them, which means they can still spam self heals while blocking after fear wears out, with little to no worries.

its time to stop saying that fear is a block breaker. It is not, its a CC ability. it can buy you some time(which is awesome) but its not a block breaker. players can block while they are feared, and it happens a lot.

Adapting to changing mechanics is the nature of PVP in any MMORPG. If you want to do well, you need to be able to move with it and not against it.

Study -> learn -> adapt -> overcome -> win.

Altmer crafting style, probably - it uses adamantite for item construction.

Perhaps a reference to one of the hardest fictionally known metals in the universe. An assumption to be certain but considering the effectiveness of cblocking with staffs by mages it could be reasonably assumed they were using adamantium magic sticks.

Of course it could just be reference to Adam Ant Ium

its a joke referencing the way blocking works in this game.

adamantium is one of the hardest metals in... oh I forget which fictional universe it is exactly. different universes seem to have different kinds(earth 616 and all that crap)

you know wolverine? his skeleton is made of the stuff. makes him almost invincible. I think Captain Americas shield is made of it as well.

basically, its a near indestructible metal.

if you were only joking about wondering what it was... well...... then im dumb:)

To those who just don't get it.

I am not crying about Bow damage or the fact of losing to a Temp..

Its that with all the new abilities and changes. "Block" is still the same in PvP.
