The Yokedans were the ancestors of the Redguards, right?

So, shouldn't the Yokedan heavy armour you get with the Craglorn template, be kinda Redguard-style? Now it is Breton armour with a Samurai-like helm...

It up to the art and lore team. With people like our dear and glorious leader Lawrence on the team we dont have to worry about it.

You mean, the same people that made refugees from Bleakrock Island to go all the way to Stonefalls instead of Windhelm, which is the capital of Pact and which is right next to the island?

Well the capital of of the Pact is Mournhold not Windhelm but kind of make since to take the refugees far away from Bleakrock Island. The covenant could figure out that they would go to Windhelm so they could of block the way to the city. I mean that is an obvious war tactic. I would definitely block them from the easy route to safety.

The King is in Windhelm. The army is in Windhelm. The provisional capital is Windhelm. Besides, it was not under the siege. Davon's Watch was, Windhelm wasn't. If covenant had enough forces to block Windhelm, then everything would evolve differently, however, we come to Windhelm and see absolutely no echo of invasion, no DC. It's one more question how Covenant ships went all the way to Stonefalls. The beginning of EP quest line makes absolutely no sense.

Or is it an obvious war tactic for EP to ignore DC fleet close to Windhelm and their King? If they had no army in Windhelm, then why would DC just leave it alone? Isn't it better to assassinate or take a leader of enemies as a hostage?
    No, makes no sense.

Is it you, Lawrence? Trying to make us believe that it seems so logical that some players come up with reasons of this very "realistic" campaign? :P We revealed you :P

p.s. you want to take refugees to a safe place, not far away from bleakrock (then why not Akavir or Shadowfen?). Windhelm is close and wasn't invaded or under siege.

I see you are trying to make sense of the story in this game. I feel obliged to advise you that this path, should you choose to continue on it, is likely to end up in the Shivering Isles.

This is actually mentioned in one of the conversations during the bleakrock questline. One of the NPC's explains you are taking the long way around to avoid the enemy.

Because modern Redguards suffer from the same thing 4th era Nords in TES Skyrim suffer from. A detachment from their true roots.

Yokudens, as illustrated through concept art by Micheal Kirkbridge - has some samurai aesthetics. Along with Ancient Arabian/Greek tropes mixed in as well.

The Ancient Yokudan armor are spot on. Your question should be rephrased: Shouldn't the Redgaurd's armor be kinda Yokudan? Time does that, unfortunately. They have changed over time, into something else.
