Do the "Alliance War" skill lines work in PvE?

Hi.
Do some of the Alliance War skill lines work against monsters?

Support:
Barrier - It says it shields allies from damage, but does not say anything about only beeing from 1 source.
Siege Shield - I understand that siege attacks are not outside Cyrodiil, but does the damage reduction against ranged attack work against monsters?
Purge - It does not say that it is Cyrodiil exclusive
Passive: Magica Aid - Recovers more magica when a Support spell is slotted. It does not say that it only works in Cyrodiil.

Assault:
All 3 active abilitys, it does not say anywhere that it is Cyrodiil exlusive.


Have anyone tested anything of this?

Most everything from the Alliance War skill line works outside of Cyrodiil, the passives may or may not. But all of the active abilites from both Assault and Support work. Healers are actually REQUIRED to have Barrier in order to get into a trial group. Or so I'm told.

I've heard that Barrier and Siege Sheild are commonly used in Trials, though I haven't been able to do one yet myself. Rapid Maneuvers is great for getting around the world quickly. All of the active abilities function like they do in Cyrodiil, basically, and any passive that doesn't say "While in Cyrodiil" should work as well.
