This is a question that I haven't spent too much time in game trying to figure out since we don't have hard and fast numbers on our various skill line experience bars.
When we receive experience (killing a mob or turning in a quest) how is that experience divided between my character, my armor, my weapon and my class skills on my bar? Does each get the same amount or is it split by percentage?
For example, I get 1000 experience from a quest. Is that experience split equally between everything, or is it split into various percentages based on how many pieces of gear I am wearing or how many 1-handed skills I have on my bar at the time? As far as I can tell my character gets the full 1000 and then it also gets split up into various percentages and applied to my skills and armor.
When the experience that applies to armor gets assigned and I have 5 pieces of light armor, 1 medium and 1 heavy does each type of armor get the same experience or does more go to Light Armor? Same can be applied to skills on my bar. If I have 3 Ardent Flame class skills, 1 Resto Staff skill and 1 Bow skill does Ardent Flame get the same XP as the other two or does it get more?
Looking to see if stacking my bar with the same skill line will in essence "power level" that skill or is it better to have 1 of everything since just having 1 of a certain skill line will get the same XP as is I had 3 skills from that skill line.
Also, does anyone know if skills will level off of lower level mobs even if my character is not getting XP? I am trying to max as much stuff as I can before hitting 50 is why I am curious about all this.
