Bound Aegis or Hardened Ward?

I've been looking through pages and not found what I'm looking for so I thought I would ask the question myself.
Bound Aegis or Hardened Ward?
I'm VR5 now and I've been using Bound Aegis with light armour for a while but I'm getting quite sick of the ugly silver armour and not being able to see my dyes. I'm thinking of giving Hardened Ward a go and see how it runs but I want to know what everyone's views on the 2 skills compared to each other is.
