PTS 1.4.2 - Vampire Question // Concealed Weapon stack with Dark Stalker?

•Fixed an issue where you could stack the Dark Stalker passive with the Night’s Silence or Shadow Dancer’s Raiment item sets to move at mount speed. This is no longer possible—you get the bonus from either Dark Stalker or Night’s Silence or Shadow Dancer’s Raiment.

Above is the change on PTS 1.4.2. My question is, will Dark Stalker stack with Concealed Weapon? And if not, will NBs get a free respect here?

this sucks bigtime they were asked directly while the nights silence was on PTS if the stacking was intentional and they said yes... now they say it wasnt.. if they dont remove all stacking with sets i,m out this piece of crap game. this is the last straw from these incompetant idiots running the show at ZOS

I'm a sorc and I also disagree with this change. If Zos breaks this stacking bonus who's to say they won't do that with other things which will also break things. To bad I can't sell my account since I've alrdy canceled cuz no body is going to be playing this game for much longer.

P1.3 was literally the beginning of the end for ESO, 1.4 just reconfirmed it. All these pve'rs who are defending this game now wont be defending it much longer when they get to end game pve to see just how broken it is and pvp is even worse with all the broken mechanics and exploits going on that zos has stated no plans to fix. Yeah /canceled sub.

Lulz, all I read is "OMG I can't exploit a set that makes me move as fast as a maxed out horse in stealth anymore, cancel sub" while anyone with any understanding of mechanics in Cyrodiil, timed trials etc. could figure out in 2,5 seconds this wasn't going to stay.

/ Nightblade Vampire who tested Night's Silence + Concealed Weapon in PvE and realised it was both fun, wrong AND unintentional (which ZoS has confirmed). Since it would give a huge advantage scouting and ganking in Cyrodiil I never entered there with it however.

I guess you havent seen the many posts from the player who spoke with ZOS a few weeks ago if they planned on changing this or it was staying and ZOS said it was correct and not changing. So many players have spent tons of resources to create another set that is now useless and gimping NB's once again...

Nah, someone posted a response they got from Customer Support who simply said that they were not aware of any plans to change it, as it had not yet been officially announced. At least that's all the "proof" I have ever seen of anything like a "response from ZOS". If you have seen it in action, you would have known that it was unintentional just from the animation. Looks completely[snip]up

Why ppl call this an exploit? It not. Its a bad design decision. And "fix" is just as bad. They should have just set a hardcap on moving speed and make this visible in toon stat menu. Game need to be more consistent: bonuses should either stack or not. Its already bad enough with all these magicka skills that use phys crit or wep damage. Now we have bonuses that do stack and bonuses that don't. No wander PUGs failing so hard in dungeons. Game's a mess.

really don't see the point @onlinegamer1‌ . It is what it is. What are you trying to prove? Even if they did say something and retract it, [snip] happens, misinformation might have been given (I don't think it was), but that is all irrelevant.

I just decon'd my night silence set last night and switched to boost my weapon dam. I'm probably overall better for it anyway.

Accept it or unsubscribe are your two options.

It's same in any game sadly, a fun ability that dosnt add damage or work in combat,(that requires you to sacrifice a in combat 5 set bonus) gets nerfed.. while all the combat/damage stacking pew pew sets/abilities get left alone.

Can't have people moving about solo, scouting at high speeed, no no how dare they leave the pew pew train.

Ahh well will just have to switch to moveing slow again but hitting like a truck.

How do you measure your speed? Is there an addon for that? I can bet concealed weapon only increases my speed when I use Dark Cloak and doesn't do anything when I'm sneaking.

ya know...I think you're right. I don't see much of a difference switching weapon sets...one set with CW, and the next without...while sneaking.

And, armor reduction is pointless too, so really the morph on that skill is useless.

An Orc Vamp NB (fastest combo full stop) with nights silence in 7 medium, with concealed weapon, with all 7 items mundas with steed mundas stone set is NOT faster than the fastest horse. Tested it, you can put that to bed. It's BS.

Faster than a horse that's not been force fed apples? Yes, it is.

IF you add rapid outmaneuvers and twisting path will be stupidly quick, but you'll chew through stam and magicka pools very quickly and you'll be that gimped with your movement speed that you can't do much of anything else.

It should be allowed to stack, regardless if it's horse fast or not.

Since this complete screw up on ZOS part i have quit playing and i only log in twice a crafting at minor levels these days..... i just completely lost interest. Someday i may look at my Credit card bill and decide the 30/month i pay for 2 eso account is a waste of money.

I used to happly pay it in hopes ESO would someday become a good game but i have lost hope.

I know if u are not a nightblade, but vamp with the "night silence" set, every horse i see can easily out sprint my sneak speed.
