Why are you nerfing Sorcs into the ground?

Considering Sorcerers have little to no capacity in PVP anymore, don't have big damage output, a spammable attack that does damage, and now you're nerfing streak into the ground, whatever you do next, can you please let me know so the sorcs can either reroll other classes, or unsub.

Thanks.

What do we have now? Streak and negate? And we're slowly losing streak.

OK, if that's all you think you have, wow....no wonder you can't play PvP.

ok, apprently I missed specifics. Streak was building ult too fast because it hit unlimited amounts of enemies. I play a sorc in PvP, and have never used this trick to build ult. Did they finally announce how they were fixing this? Lets hope it's the obvious answer, and they don't do something stupid.

Here is a "pro tip". Don't use a tactic that is obviously OP and will be nerfed really quick, and you won't feel the nerf. Same with the blazing shield expoit, the the triple shield trick, the mist form exploit....

I have always stood up for Bolt Escape on the Forums but dude, you should've realized this was only a fotm-setup where people would streak through zergs and immediately have a negate ready and you shouhld've seen the nerf coming.
If you can't play any other way, how did you play before you figured that out?
Do you hold block while spamming impulse too?

They made streak have the same aoe cap as every other aoe. How does this "nerf sorcs to the ground?"

I play a sorc... I dont have that bolt morph, but the other one... I do just fine in PVP without spamming streak, since I never had it in the first place. There are other ways to be useful as a sorc.

It appears that many players confuse blatantly obvious bug fixes with nerfs.

Yep and when someone actually gets nerfed to the ground no one will hear us because of all the "wolf" crying. I'm still waiting for the thread titled "Why did you Buff DKs!" because of this....

In regards to the streak nerf - all they had to do was make it properly blockable. Was easy enough to break out of in the first place unless you had several sorcs spamming it all over you (that hasn't really happened to me since the initial nerfs to streak and batswarm); I never had a problem countering it on my templar or my sorc when hit by other sorcs using streak. Not to mention a well placed negate will stop a streaking sorc dead.

Admittedly I relied on it for my own sorc playstyle, as an offensive weapon. Never depended on bat swarm or AoE spells like all the batswarm bombers did. It was one of the few tools I had for dealing with DKs, tho things have changed for them too.

I did enjoy using it in combination with the strom atro ult and CF procs (and to great effect), it was a great tool to eat into the flanks of incoming zergballs or slow them up when said zerg was rushing through breaches or mowing down allies out in the field.

The nerf will definetly decrease the survivability of streak users and most likely force them to adapt/change playstyle if they want to remain competitive in pvp as sorcs.

Personally I enjoyed how it worked and don't currently feel like relearning how to play my sorc toons differently, that i've spent months on, and will probably shelve my sorc toons and go play templar again, if I continue playing. I'll be waiting a bit to see how things settle with all the changes and bugs.

Zeni you guys change way too much *** at once with your game updates, I don't know how you guys can expect to "balance" stuff when these updates change so many things at once, rebalancing your balancing crap will take months most likely and several more patches with a lot more changes.

The OP is 6 months old, why necro a Sorc thread when there are already tons of them relevant to 1.6?

well kragorn, we cant really blame him from using the search function of the forums, thats what most people always complain about when post of similar content pops up, and now he had actually done it, and still no satisfaction :)

    Greetings everyone,
We are closing this thread because there is already a thread about this issue. We appreciate all feedback and would like to consolidate it in one place for our Developers.
    Thank you for understanding.
