Best location for Ogrim and Banekin I have seen for high level DC vets. Better than farming Cold Harbor, where there would have been little to no XP.

Hmm? Is it inside or the ruin itself where they are?

Also, Coldharbour is a no go for Orgrims isn't it? Only level 44 so they give no loot.

The banekin dropped while I was clearing for the quest outside. But they respawn quickly, and kill even quicker, so farming would be no problem. I had to farm both the ghost and the ogrim to get the drops. THere are more ghosts than ogrim, so no problem there. The ogrim down respawn as fast, and not as many of them. That one took a few hours farming. You can leave the area without completing the quest and return later. I don't know if the area is locked after the quest is done. That does happen (I have no good place to hunt vet level Daedroth, cuz I finished the Dune quest before I even started collectibles)

If the Cold Harbor ogrim are below lvl 45, you will not get a drop if you are a vet. But even if they are at 45 or above, it would only be worth farming there for low level vets if there is a higher level alternative, because the XP (and therefore CP) would be so low. Cold Harbor will be my last resort.

Nereid - Cave with 15 Nereids (level 30). You can run in a circle (QUICK RESPAWN!). Only down time is that you have to run to next level of cave.

Greenshade AD - Nereid Temple Cave south west of Dread Vullain. You can only enter cave after you did first part of Right of Theft quest which you can pick up at the road that leads to Dread Vullian. Please note first part takes only 5 min (maybe less).

Confirmed drop! Got mine there

Most have at least 2 spots listed. That covers about every faction for players. As folks supply more good farming spots, Ill add them to the list. Feel free to contribute your finds for empty spots.

I don't believe so. Im guessing you have your settings so that you loot from all nearby corpses at once. You probably killed a ghost with the wraith, and the discharge came from the nearby ghost when you looted the wraith corpse.

I can comfirm Wraiths also drop Ectoplasmic Discharge. I got one at Westtry

Guys,

This is to confirm that the Cat's Claw dropped for me last night while farming Sabre Cats in the Rift.

Bit north of Ragged Hills wayshrine, got both, the huge tooth Mammoth and the Cat's claw... This is a good area, with Sabre Cats grouped in 2-3 and fast re-spawn rate.

I have to share:

After my recent endeavors killing 1400-1500 hundred trolls before the drop just to get another one the day after from a random dungeon I got my luck back.

Durzog hide: 3 kills.

Spiders crown: first kill.

Nose shackle: 30 minutes farming.

EDIT: Banekorn horn: 5 minutes of farming.

Are you getting xp and loot from them? If not, you're too high of a level. You must be within 5 levels of them to get the drops. If you are, then yes. I farmed Abamath for mine.

Thx for the quick reply. Yes, i am getting XP and loot. Maybe droprate of these is lower then rest. I have the idea that trophies have a lower droprate. Guess I am unlucky

Just wondering did you get it on Veteran or 1-50 level?

Welcome to the dark side of RNG. It can take hours and thousands of kills to get drops sometimes. Honestly, sometimes I have to wonder if I'm nuts for chasing this achievement. Bottom line is exactly as stated above: to get a drop you must be within 5 levels of creature. For vets, that translates to level 45 all the way to VR13 (are there VR14 critters, never seen one).

I used a lower level alt ~30's to get my symbiont from Abamath golems, then traded it to my main character for the achiev.

LOVE THIS GUIDE! Got 6 achievements done since Monday last two left are beast and atronach! It went very smoothly all grinding because Ive been playing since beta didn't get 1 trophy until vr 14! but then today I started on my beast collector and it is KILLING ME! Great help thanks for everyone who put the time in! This is my last RNG achievement have 13k+ points now. 3 weeks and I will be done with every achievement but possibly hard mode trials and pvp I cant wait! oo and legerdemain

I went to Khenarthi's Roost to farm for the Alit trophy and noticed there are 2 locations with groups of Harpys. I was able to easily pull 5 Harpys together and the Flawless Tail Feather trophy popped on the first try! Still working on the Alit trophy… I also went to Tanzelwell and on my second pass, was able to get the ectoplasmic discharge trophy to pop. Thanks for all of the hints!

4k In and no drop from the Kagouti Tusk

and New Spot worked better for me for Kagouti Tripple Circle Mine in Deeshan and for Kwama, Taleon's Crag in Deeshan as well vr 14 dc here

edit: WOOOHOOO I am done with them all it dropped in 30 minutes today!!!! now they need to fix the flesh and I am done with all trophies in the game! Amazing Thank you all for the help with this guide

Today i was able to get the Cruel Collar - Jackals trophy but NOT east of Belkarth. It was west of Belkarth, south of the seekers archive way shrine. (south of the road). There are 4 packs of jackals that are up on the hills. I pulled 3 packs together and it dropped.

I also farmed the Prize Barb west of DSA with no luck, but was able to get it in about an hour, in a scorpion pack that spawns SW of the Rahni'Za site. there are 4 groups of them that spawn around there.

i need only the Icebound Vertebra from Ice Wraith, but i cant find good places to farm them. only Lions Den is ok, but there are not rly many. any ideas?

Lion's Den is where I got mine. You might try the public dungeon in Windhelm. There are quite a few mobs there.

Tu'whacca's Throne in Alik'r Desert is a good spot to farm "Crypt Jar".

Knotted Heart - Lurcher good farming spot in Shadowfen Percolating Mire (SE quadrant) during the Clarity quest. After you eat the mushroom, you're transported to a vision state in which there is an endless supply of Lurchers, level VR8 or 9 for DC vets. You can leave the quest unfinished and resume it later if you get bored farming lurchers.
