The Order of the Awen (NA, DC): A BRAND NEW RP Guild

The Order of the Awen is a new RP guild for those who value nature, balance and the natural order. While Druids, Hunters, Werewolves, alchemists and other typical "outdoor" characters are, of course, welcome; any character that feels more at home in the wilds of Tamriel than in the hustle and bustle of city life is welcome in our ranks.
The Order is made of two branches, to embody the balance that we hold dear. One, the Druids, is for the more scholarly member. While they are not necessarily pacifists, they're role in the Order is restoration and preservation of their ideals. People more at home collecting and crafting materials than attacking others may feel more at home here. On the other hand, even a battle-hardened orc may prefer to spend time in deep thought than strategizing and preparing for the next battle.
The Wardens are the other side of the Order's coin. While the Druids serve to restore and preserve, the Wardens exist to protect the balance by force, and are a method of redressing any imbalances that require a more forceful response. While the Wardens will surely be made of mostly warriors, crafters who would prefer to arm the soldiers rather than spend their time with philosophers and scholars are very welcome to join their ranks. And any group of warriors worth their salt will have some healers nearby to make sure they can fight on.

Because the guild is so new, almost everything is up for debate and able to change. At the time of this writing, we only have 8 members. We hope to expand and make the guild one to be proud of. Our intended tabard will be green and black with a wolf and a tree, representing life and death.

This guild was created because I could not find a good fit for my "druid" character, and the lore is there waiting to be used. The Bretons are descended from the "Druids of Galen", and their is already one faction in the Daggerfall Covenant to possess the powers of nature (the Wyresses). We are very excited about the idea, and hope to find other players as excited as we are. Reply to this post or whisper @Jaxon_Wolfe for invite. Hope to see you in-game!

Quick update for those interested: We now have 25 members. Our RPing has gone VERY well, with everyone having a lot of fun. We have claimed Dourstone Isle as our IC home, and we now have a guild website =D check us out at orderofawen.enjin.com. We are currently looking for more Druids to fill our ranks (the Druids as explained above not necessarily a character who identifies as a Druid), though we are of course accepting any players. As always, message me in-game or respond here for an invite.

Some questions. Are you on the NA server? Must you be Breton to take part? Are your events in the EST time zone or another?
I'm based in NA EST so I would need that server and majority time zone to really take part. I have an Argonian (whose story I am still working on) in DC and I may be interested in trying out this guild, as I am currently in the market for an RP guild.
Props to the logo too, I was not expecting to see Cerridwen's cauldron given name to a guild.

UPDATE: We just hit 50 members last night =D. We also did some light RP related to our guild's first storyline, where we are going to cleanse some ancient ritual sites of the Druids of Galen throughout the Daggerfall Covenant.

Are you open to completely new players? I would love to join, and to play (as much as possible) as a druid and non-combatant. I have a brand new character (only my second in the game) that I've JUST started with this concept in mind. If you'll take a complete novice, I would love to join!

Yes, we do have new players that join.
If you've never role-played before, we have had role-play seminars in the past to help learn how as well.

On a side note. We've now hit over 90 members.

This is a great guild to join everyone! I am brand new to RP and they are very cool about teaching you how and will hold a class for you on to do it. And their story and RP event's are engaging and a ton of fun. I highly recommend it. Everyone who is a part of it is super nice

I'm really excited about the guild. Who do I contact, and how? I'm trying to play my toon (Gwynethe Oakmadd) OOCly so that I can build her up to be strong enough to stop doing any combat at all and play just as a druid. My character concept for her is that she is an old wise woman who mostly crafts, doling out food, drink, and potions to members of the guild. My preference would be 80% RP, 20% crafting. Thanks!

Just an update to anyone interested.
We now have over 100 members. We're still in the middle of our guild story (which has been awesome by the way) as well as random party nights when we feel like drinking and letting loose.

I joined this guild last night after an incredibly enjoyable and collaborative RP. In only one night I saw a cooperation and camaraderie that can too often be very difficult to find; the decision to commit to the guild was an easy one.

The guild has a fair means to treating new applicants that very effectively identifies those who will work well with its current members, the bottom line effectively being one must be friendly, helpful, supportive, communicative, cooperative, and understands that roleplay storytelling is a shared, collaborative experience. If you feel that describes you, and you find that idea attractive, then I encourage you to contact the guild heads identified above.

If you feel the above describes you and you have strong interest in roleplay, but you're new to roleplay in MMOs or ESO specifically, then don't be discouraged. If you have the heart of a roleplayer, then they're more than willing to help you learn. They're patient, supportive, and just incredible people.

The guild's premise and role IC is both interesting and rich with possibilities. This is made obvious with even a quick read through some of their past and proposed upcoming RP events.

Hi, I only have time to play a couple times a week, but I have an Argonian in DC that would be perfect for the theme of your guild. She traveled to the DC area in search of new exotic plants for her alchemy studies. Her only worldly possessions are her alchemy tools, a research notebook, her Guar mount, a healing staff for defense, and a desert hound she found as a stray puppy while traveling the Alik'r desert.
