Can't clone Colors of Colorless Gear.

I crafted gear before the patch for an alt. I really like the colors it was given from the Patch. I need to upgrade Outfits now.

I want to "Copy" the Color Scheme of the old outfit, and I don't have the Colors for it, or know how to get them. When the piece is worn, it shows 3 empty slots. I wish I could just "Clone" the default Colors for an outfit.

Within; Without.

We've moved this discussion to the crafting section as it is a better fit there. Thank you for your understanding.

You can't clone them if they're empty, unfortunately. Your best bet would be to use a similar dye.

I had this same issue the other day. I did a little investigating, and found that one of my colors in use (volunteer iron grey I think) was triggering an error. I reapplied it to my stored color set, and then I could reapply that set to my armor.

ETA: I can add a screen grab of the UI error I encountered once I get home from work tonight, @ZOS_AlexD - I do believe this is a bug issue, not a crafting one.

ETA2: Re-read the OP, apologies if I've taken this off on a tangent. I misunderstood that the request was to be able to determine the base color of an item (without a dye applied).
