Dark Exchange and weapon swap

This isn't a bug, but rather an enhancement request: I'd like it very much if weapon swap would override channeled spells like Dark Exchange.
Currently, I need to cancel the spell and then swap, which, in the heat of combat takes an extra click and about half a second of my attention that I could otherwise be using to do other things. This is an eternity.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to fire off Dark Exchange, and when I have enough mana back, hit weapon swap and have it both cancel the effect and return me to my other skill line.
