This has been happening to me since release, from a few different attacks, but the chief culprits are Fiery Grip and Piercing Javelin. I first encountered this problem trying to out-run the chain attack of the Stranglers in Grahtwood - when their attacks would hit me even after I'd gone well out of range of these immobile enemies - but now it is most problematic in PvP.
Basically, there are occasions when my character is caught in the middle of some form of evasive maneuver (roll dodge, sprint away, teleport strike, etc) and during the animation I am struck with one of the aforementioned abilities. The problem seems to be that I have moved out of range of the ability, but the attack still occurs nonetheless, and the game can't make sense of what has happened. The result is an immediate drop in frame rate to about 5fps, and huge lag in response to my commands. As you can imagine, this is almost always a deadly occurrence in Cyrodiil.
The kicker is that /reloadui and relogging do nothing to solve the problem, I have to actually restart the game to resume a normal frame rate. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't say I've seen any discussion about fixing it.
