Divine Trait Broken Still:

The Divine Trait seems to still be broken as it is not increasing the Mundus Stone effects.

Test it on numerous characters and with 4 pieces of Divines I am seeing 0 chance in the spell critical or weapon critical with the Thief Mundus Stone.

    Thief mundus stone gives 5% extra chance to crit.

    To see it change to 6%, you would need a combined divine trait magnitude of 20%.

    Since you are using 4 pieces divine, you would need the items to be at least green quality(so that each gives a 5% divine bonus).

    (just to be on the safe side, i would use at least one of the pieces blue, for a 6% divines bonus, in case theres some rounding issue)

    I tested it on a naked character with 0 passives and got 5%.

    I then took equipped 4 pieces of Legendary Divines Gear each with 7.5% increase mundus effect for a total of 30%

    I still received only 5% spell/weapon critical from the Mundus Stone. No changes with 0% to 30% Divine Trait value.

    I only tested it with 4 blue quality divines armor pieces, but also did not get an additional crit percent from the thief mundu stone

    I read somewhere here that you need to re-accept mundus stone. Some says that after they do that they saw difference.

    Yes, I noticed this and /bugged it too, easiest way to test it is with mage stone, with or without divine trait armor the amount of magicka is the same.

    This is what I have found out and tested for myself... Divines gear seems to only take some form of effect when you are activating the Mundus Stone and receiving the buff. You can then take off all your Divines gear and put on... say... a full set of Infused gear and the amount you got from the mundus stone while wearing the divines gear will STILL be the same. I tested this on my Dragonknight some time ago bouncing between The Thief and The Atronach. I only used 5 pieces of Divines gear. All of which was... either green or blue, but the effects were still noticeable. To this day, my Dragonknight still has the effect of The Atronach and it is still the same amount it was when I grabbed it with the Divines gear.

    About... a week ago(?), when the GM's were in The Fish Stink in Davon's Watch answering questions and whatnot, I asked a GM about it while describing what I did and wondered if it was working as intended. There seemed to be some confusion at first, but after explaining it again they replied with it working as intended.

    In conclusion... a character can make a full set of level 1 gear with Divines and upgrade it to Legendary. (Make a Shield too) With all eight pieces of armor made legendary, go get your Mundus Stone and you'll have a 60% increase to the effect. The Thief, for example, will give 8% instead of 5%. Same with The Ritual though that's healing output and not crit. The Atronach, if I recall right, gives 17 Magicka Recovery at 50, so... with the Legendary Divines gear set, you're looking at 27. I found that to be pretty beneficial on my Dragonknight Tank. Would have probably preferred Stamina Recovery, but... that isn't a thing. lol So, yea. I advise testing it out for yourselves, but... I recommend getting yourself a full set of level 1 legendary divines gear. Level 1 simply because you can stow it away somewhere and use it for alts. Or share it with close friends even. Will save on mats and you'll be able to use it for future characters. Or when you change your mind.

    Has anyone tested this to make sure it isn't just a UI thing? For example, if you use the mage stone is your actual magicka going up the extra % or just what the UI is showing you?

    If it was, would it not reset to the correct amount when... like, the servers go down and back up? I would have thought it would. I use the add-on, foundry tactical combat and so forth and on my healer I used the divines thing on The Ritual and after switching gear back, I still noticed the same numbers as I did when I got The Ritual with the divines gear. I have yet to test out the full legendary set, simply because my friend is crafting the other pieces, but so far, all the numbers and everything seem to be right. Like I said, test it out for yourselves and see what you think about it.

    Ok just tested and that information is correct at least on the UI. I did get an increase in critical with divines on when I first got the Mundus Stone. I then removed the gear and I kept the same amount of 6.5% (had 30% increase).

    Will test actual numbers sometimes today with the Shadow stone to see if its just an UI error.

    So let me get this straight: I can create a level 1 (or any level) legendary set of armor plus a shield with Divines trait for a total of 60% increase to Mundus Stone effect, go activate the a Mundus Stone, then switch a different set of gear with different traits and now have the perks of BOTH sets of traits?!

    This can't possibly be the intended design. This would mean that everybody should keep around a tradable level 1 Divines set to wear when activating a Mundus Stone, and then mule it away until/if you ever change Mundus Stone. Friends could just loan out their legendary Divines sets to friends to activate a Mundus Stone with then give the set back.

    Either I've misunderstood what people are saying in this thread, or the devs messed up (as usual), or the design is intended in which case the devs are brain-dead. Which is it?

    Divines never seems to update the character sheet as soon as it is applied. Every patch I lose 2-3% crit due to divines not displaying then somehow after relogging a couple of times it suddenly starts showing.

    I think at least the UI aspect of it has been broken since day 1..

    Iv been testing the Shadow Stone on PTS and my results were better then they were when I tested it a month ago. Just need to be aware that in PvP the extra crit damage may be worthless if your opponent stacks impenetrable because you will never crit. For PvE I still have some test to do on Trial bosses before I make my decision on it.

    I'll defiantly test this again after patch is applied today. If it works then I'll be crafting divine gear but if not I guess its infused at least until zos fixes it which you never know when that will happen. There are so many broken mechanics in the game that they have still yet to address/fix, "Snakeblood" **cough cough**

    Devines works for me. Atleast with Thief stone.

    Worked before patch, and still working after patch.

    with thief it seem to afjust the & based on the amount of divine item equipped... with mage, lord and warrior it seem to be based on the amount of divine equipped when you acquire the buff (and if you chnge equip later on it will still give you the same amount as when you had the divine equipped...)

    tomorrow I'll test other mundus...

    I think they fixed that. At least i can tell for the thief.
    Before the patch you could make a nice full divine set, get the buff and use any other gear you prefered. The buff stayed pimped from your divine set...
    As i said i checked this with thief and this does not work anymore.
    So i assumed that they fixed this for all mundus Stones.

    Would be nice if someone could confirm this.

    The mundus effect really needs to display some numbers/percentages.. So for the Mage, it would read "Maximum Magicka Increased by ___%" and when gear w/divines trait is equipped, the percentage would increase accordingly.
