It ticks for 264 on a DK I just made on PTS (full magicka 2468, spell power 99) , so i presume it has been adjusted already ( although it still ticks higher than Shifting Standard , which is at 182). What are the equivalent numbers on live?

Still, it would be good if it did a bit more damage than it does live. Maybe ~100 per second rather than ~50. It shouldn't do more damage than standard tho, given that it is primarily defensive, so even 200 would be too high. That would make it better in some ways than batswarm too lol. I saw the 500 too and tried to bug it but the /bug or /feedback windows wouldn't open on patch day.
Nobody uses it, perhaps a buff in some way is what it needs. Every DK and his wolfhound is using Standard. I used to use Corrosive armour, a completely defensive ult before they nerfed it's duration a couple patches ago. I've just not found any situations in both PvE and PvP where i consider this Ult worthwhile.

How about we stop screwing with class spells and fix the underlying problem of destruction staff being the culprit behind nearly all balance issues in this entire game?

they use standard for the damage,
if Magma armor is doing more, in addition to its mobility and powerful damage reduction, everyone will use this....

If magma armor did more damage per second than standard, it would win, because its not stationary. Plus the damage reduced on you is greater than what standard can do (when it works)
It went live, alright. The damage numbers you can see from it in Cyrodiil are incredible.
Just stand next to whoever you want to melt.
