Where can i find dreugh wax?

so I need about 56 dreugh wax to get all my medium armors to legendary. I plan to save these for my VR12 gear. where do I get these from? from refining raw materials? or deconstruction? only few that I do remember getting are from hirlings, the rest I have I don't even remember how I got them:/

iv refined quite a bit of max tier raw mats, and have not found even ONE dreugh wax:/ how do people get so much?

I don't know if ZOS changed the refining rate drop for Dreugh Wax but deconstructing purple light and medium armor is how I got more than fifty waxes during anomaly farming in Craglorn pre-nerf.

Good luck to OP in getting 56 Waxes. Waxes are selling for 2.5k-3k gold right now.

They are just extremely rare and you are expecting too much? I have my hireling only at rank 1, so get a game mail a day, with starting crafting in the pre-release. I also have Tailoring at 6/9, Unraveling at 3/3, Stitching 3/3 and Tannin Exp at 0/3. I am currently deconning lots of Top-Grain Hide Skins in a VR1 area, and have a total of 2 Dreugh Wax.

I think they did nerf the drop rates. I have about 6-7 and they are before last patch. It is still possible to get them from refining, though.

none of my guild stores sell raw mates either:( so I have to get them all by hand. I don't mind manually collecting these raw mats, but would still be nice to be able to buy them

Refining has been bashed with the nerf stick hard, to try make up for the mass duping and Raw Jute exploiting that ruined the price for all crafting materials (Especially clothing) at one point Dreugh Wax was 1000-1500each because people had stacks of the stuff and it was worthless.

2 months ago I used to average a Dreugh Wax from every 3 stacks I refined, It's now like 1 Dreugh Wax from every 10-15 stacks.

I regularly get a few of those from refining and hireling deliveries (even level 1 hirelings occasionally). In the end though, it is just RNG. Of course, they are rare like all other other legendary grade materials.
