As I said, this is a sledgehammer approach. It affects things like class survival and potential roles when they should just be buffing the weak weapon skills.

The other dumb thing about the Spell Power cap nerf is that the real overpowered builds are desto/resto staff builds. But those are based off weapon power, not spell power. So you are not nerfing desto/resto staff builds by limiting spell power. You are nerfing people who use a lot of class skills and there are very few builds based off class skills that are overpowered. In fact, most build complaints are that people want to use their class skills but they just can't compete with staff builds. And with the increase in the weapon power cap, staff builds will actually be more powerful!

Well just great. Power extraction + Impulse will be even more fun and now I can spam them even more due to raised magicka caps. Thanks ZOS great way to make to buff quite a few magicka builds. :p

My magicka class skill based NB tank will take small dive but why would I do that anymore when I can melt everything away,

Yea Im slightly worried that the force shock builds out there will be really tough after 1.3. The force shock spamming will just get so painful now that they can get their weapon Power up by quite abit. Whilst my spellpower will get a very, very little nerf.

Exactly, the one weapon build that nearly everyone agrees is cheese gets buffed and class skills across the board get nerfed. Not cool ZoS.

    Spell crit, and weapon damage.

Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

Spell crit all trough, For destro Weapon Damage but also spell power to some extent though not sure how much. For Resto it is spell power for the heals.

While I can't say for sure on destro staff, I do know my resto staff relies on spell crit, weapon damage, and magicka.

Looks like they ninja nerfed the regen soft caps from where they were on the PTS thus making my willow's path set a waste.

Wow, 158 to 131 is a massive nerf. I was hoping they weren't going to go this route with balancing, because trying to keep two balls in the air (nerfing Magicka and buffing stamina) is unnecessarily complicating the task of balancing stamina.

@ZOS_GinaBruno‌ can we please have an open discussion about the nerfing of magicka users? Balance-by-nerf is a historically bad way to go about doing things. Please don't let this be another massive change that gets railroaded through without a discussion.

No worries spell-casters -- it was 'just a TAD', sorta like that 'just a TAD' Vet+ 1-10 PvE content nerf. (*) Consistent.

Reducing the Damage for magic and increasing it for stamina to balance it out is bad?

Personally I think the encounter would make it more interesting approach onto more diversity groups meaing you cannot just go all out full magicka based builds but also need something to keep the weight in balance creating a use and demand for stamina users as well.

It is a little bit *** as it is now with all those light armor and staff users and frankly enough I see it as an amateur way or lack of ability to beat the game with what one personally like to do.

There is already to much damage in this game already, it would be nice for a chance that actually would have to fight for ones life during eg. a trial and not just cruising through it in 9minutes or less, go figure ;)

Some templars just know what they are doing.

They ninja nerfed stamina regen to be lower than magicka regen too. Showing how much they hate the warrior type.
