    This is going to be a hot topic lol. The Majority of the forums will yell, kick, and scream, at the mention of the dk being buffed at all. The skill that this is most comparable to Inhale and its morphs is sap essence which cost less does roughly the same damage as the explosion from inhale instantly (instead of waiting 2.5s for the explosion), and heals for less (how much less depends on the targets hit). The kicker with sap essence is it heals group members also, and is more spam friendly. I personally feel sap essence is a better skill due to the siphoning passives granting 2 additional ultimate when a siphoning attack does damage. I still use draw essence on my DK for certain situations, but when you compare it to sap essence it is in my opinion weak, but I'm not sure it should be buffed. I am still very hard to take down on my DK. Maybe let the initial health drain hit 6 targets, but lower the amount it drains by a 3rd? I just don't know. Lower cost wouldn't be terrible either, but with the magicka return on draw essence it could be OP. This may be one of those skills best left alone.

    Guess every class has comparable skills in other classes that are stronger or weaker. Standard of might still vastly outperforms the templar Nova ultimate, so you've got the advantage there.

    Yes this skill was nerfed hard. Problem is DK in general got so many powerful skills and so much synergy that they cannot buff this skill without first nerfing others.
    Sorry guys, but DKs for the most part are too strong, and fotm skills need to be toned down before the lackluster ones get buffed.

    One of the other reasons this isn't all that strong is because the same tree has an ability that restores 1/3rd of your missing health on activation. With one already extremely powerful heal, you don't really need another

    That heal costs a bit magica mind you. And you are very hostile when you with a stroke simply states that one of the top abilities in that tree is not worth making useful because there is already an expensive heal in there. Wtf dude!

    It's not an either or thing, it's a both thing. Anybody incapable of doing both is incapable of competent game design.

    ...case in point? The entire Templar class.

    I don't even know what this skill is anymore. I wouldn't use it for magic, I wouldn't use it for health, and I wouldn't use it for damage... What is it's purpose?
