Vol is my DC guild's home campaign so I wanted to take a page from the other NA topics. Hopefully it will get more DC in and give AD/EP someone to fight other than themselves.

ATM, Vol is a big emp farming server, but we treat it as a big former-emp farming server. You can't PvP without constantly tripping over one.

The EP guys are the strongest faction as far as quantity and quality goes. AD has fewer peeps, but still can build zerg balls of 16-24. And for us poor DC, every once and a while a DC farming groups guests over. But a majority of my day is made up of ganking/killing former emperors.

And to the V2 Khajiit NB who keeps dancing on my fetid corpse, I will get you one day.

We must have killed 30 nameless former emp (mostly cheaters). It was fun until the AD guys showed-up and took the cheating up a notch.

Strange calling EP cheaters. I watched DC speed repairing the outer walls of keeps while they were flagged, and AD using unlimited Mage Mercs that bug out, become invincible, take no dmg and cannot be killed. Moving to a low pop server and making it a home to stir the pot is not a cheat or exploit. Waiting in queue for an hour plus to PvP sucks, so I moved. Not everyone can be on 24 hours a day. Some ppl have irl stuff to do and log on to relax with some game play.

I will tell you what was told to me by both AD and DC when I made a gripe about party joining and guesting on a server. They told me to quit crying and rally up your faction to play. Take your own advice and quit crying. If you want more ppl, rally your faction. If the server is too dominate, and no one wants to join it from your faction, take advantage of the home switching function and leave. The game hasn't been out that long to where you would be loyal to a certain server. Hell, these servers will probably be gone soon anyway and merged.

If you want to get some action, tell you own factions to quit with the dirty exploits, and play with some dignity. A few of us have already reported it with screenshots and talked to customer support about it. If they catch you, I am sure you will get a ban hammer. Using mage merc contracts are not an issue IMO, but to use them while knowing that they are bugged and cannot be killed is bad form. Speed repairing a flagged keep is cheap and lame. We run around with a 15-20 man group, and get hit by 40+ man groups and still wipe you. It may take a couple tries due to the exploits you are using, but we get it done.

To be clear ALL factions are cheating on Volendrung. I will not return to playing on Volendrung or any PvP until the cheaters/exploiters, who are openly using the Blue Road Keep exploit, are punished or banned.

FYI, Volendrung has been my home server for at least 2 months and is our official guild PvP home. It got a little boring at times, but there was no cheating that I was aware of until the campaigns ended.

I have said what Guild i know is openly doing the cheats on DC and I do not think I have to say DC, AD, and EP are all cheating to clarify that i am not taking sides. Cheaters are cheaters in this case whether they are blue, red, or yellow.

There are a small portion of players that do appear to be combating the emp farmers that are AD and maybe EP, definitely very few on DC side if any, but none of us are getting anywhere and will not unless ZOS actually does what they should.

I have one more task in PvP, depending on a Guildmate's actions, then I will not be back to PvP/AvA, or CvCvC (cheat vs cheat vs cheat) until it is fixed

Enlighten me on what is the BRK cheat? I am not a an elite PvP'r yet on ESO, but I am learning the skills from lots of practice. The FPS BS has been a drag and makes taking keeps horrid, but we manage.

Like I said, the main things I have seen was unlimited invincible merc mages that ppl still have after they were removed from the game, and repairing walls while the keeps are flagged. I don't like easy keep taking. I like the battles. That is the whole point of the game imo. Getting emp on a low pop server is not a hard thing to do. When you take keeps, you want to have them taken back so you can get a fight. The Emp is just icing on the cake. It isn't an exploit, but a legit game mechanic put in by ZOS. Maybe it will stir things up to get ppl fighting again.

I won't tolerate cheats either. I report when I see without faction prejudice. Tonight we took a keep from DC, and repaired the inner postern. I walked out the door, and took dmg. It was a DC with an oil pot right outside the inner postern door. I was like O_o. Got killed because I was like LOL. It's not easy to be there when the keep is not yours.

Walls can be repaired even if the keep is still flagged, however the wall you are trying to repair can not have taken siege damage within the time limit of its last hit, 1 min or so.

Mercs are still in the game and you only need 1 to do the unlimited merc exploit, ZOS left them in the inventory of any player who had them before the NPC who sold them was removed.

I dunno about any BRK exploit. Unless this is what they are talking about.

I am starting to think players managed to keep this secret. The BRK exploit is get crediting for taking any castle/resource, it is a glitched quest that is still around that gets shared over and over among cheaters. In case you have ever wondered how some emp farmers climb the leaderboards so fast and how they simply swap farms, or when they take the map they simply go in one direction.

A little experimenting with alts will show that is it not possible to get "take X farm" exactly where you want, you can try guest servers dropping quests and alts, but you will have a hard time getting precisely the quest you want, or if you had a large, well organized guild you get collect the quests on alts (need 54 alts...54 resources where each also has one of 18 castles or one of 3 keeps, throw in one of 6 scrolls).

I hope the BRK exploit is addressed in tomorrow's patch. I also hope the ban hammer is about to fall on those who used the cheat. It is probably too much to ask for the "former emp" to be removed (probably still a majority with the skill line got it appropriately, but the emp farmers do not deserve it)

@ZOS_GinaBruno or someone else can you address the status of BRK exploit and bans?

sheeesh enough already, FOR 1 you can repair a keep while it is Flagged, bursted ect. You can not repair a keep if it is being shot. and the BRK exploit do you reallllly think people get emp from doing a 750ap quest over and over? no thats not how its done, people are doing the BRK for ap cause repair stones are just too damn expensive. you get 36ap back for repairing a keep per 1 300ap boulder, Cyr would look like a bomb zone with no repaired walls anywhere. Emp is being earned from camping a keep and defending it until the last man is standing. So once Again GNG making accusations and just assuming people are cheating.

And you have just confirmed they are using the cheat. There was no assumption, we know for a fact that certain groups have been and are using BRK so....no assumption (try looking the word up). And it is an exploit/cheat...so it is cheating. not sure what the disagreement is?

The wall repair is a screwed-up mechanic, but it is not like BRK cheat, e.g. I cannot go repair an undamaged farm and get credit for some other farm, which would be a close analogy to BRK.

And you could not continue to infinitely repair walls (effectively) without using the BRK cheat.

Now that the Former Emp farming on Volendrung has stopped, PvP has become fun again. I want to thank the EP guys who were fighting with us outside of Warden, we will see you again very soon.

We had some good AvAvA going on last night. We (DC) finally took Warden after several unsuccessful charges into an oil pot free for all. The EP Emp is one sly and tough fur ball.
