Lore question - Lamia

Has anyone found any lorebooks/stuff/website wiki thingies that explain more about the Lamia? The wiki has just a couple lines on their origin and health regen capabilities, but nothing else. I recently did the quest about them in Cold Harbor (save their kiddies, etc) and have been trying to find out more about 'em.
