    Game works OUTSIDE of Cyro. Lots of us wants to join in cyro. But a rollback wount fix that.

    Well, who cares about "outside of Cyro" I never leave Cyro and find it the only part of the game that's enjoyable. Why would I care about anything else?

    Just like you PvE guys don't zone into Cyro.

    If you are not having this problem - try playing on a server with some population...

    I voted no because 1.2.3. was a 9 GB patch (if I remember correctly) so reverting the game to a previous version would require another patch of that size and would probably cause many compatibility issues as well. And then yet another 9 GB patch would have to be downloaded once the problem is found and a fix is available.

    If what you are suggesting is to actually roll back the entire server and reset all progress made on any character since 1.2.3. was released then I vote with a big NO :O

    What I would like to see is an emergency maintenance on both servers as soon as the problem is found and a patch (tested before release as far as that's possible) is ready.

    Edit: To the people not experiencing this fps drop problem: It only happens when a lot of people are in the same area in Cyrodiil (I'd say it starts when about 60-80 people are fighting near the same keep) and sometimes, rarely, in PvE zones (especially when you do Dark Anchors). In PvE zones the low fps rate sometimes refreshes again after a few minutes. In Cyrodiil it stays low once it has dropped. And it can drop down to 2 fps even on the best computer.

    Also, if they rolled back to 1.2.2 they could take a month before releasing 1.2.3 and getting it right - 1.2.2 was a very stable version of the game with little noticeable lag.


    All we asked for most of the time in Cyro were: Working Forward camps, Doors that don't bug out when you repair them and Wall repair kits that don't stop working if you get interrupted during a repair process (like the door is fixed while you are repairing, or gets hit with siege while you are repairing).

    Those three things would have been huge massive improvements to PvP...instead we got more lighting...and a new dungeon...and unplayable FPS in Cyro.

    Well, what are you doing outside of Cyro? Honestly? Rolling alts? Running the "raid challenges?" what exactly are you doing?

    Now you can have all the fun you want - I DON'T CARE...

    But, Cyro is busted - and I don't care about your new VR 12 vet dungeon that you must have run 20 times already.

    Go back to 1.2.2, take out lighting in patch 1.2.3 but add all the other stuff and see if that fixes it? If it works we can all rejoice if not take away the patch altogether, at least 1.2.2 worked fine.
    If it was something to do with the lighting make an option to turn it off, im sure alot of pvp players would have it off anyway, i always turn most guff down to low in pvp to reduce lag.
    Patch 1.2.3 nerfed the game....

    About to start tanking in a new dungeon now. So you get rid of me for bit =)

    It really makes no sense that situations where i used to have 60 fps now hardly go on 30-35 fps , so please remove @ least lightning from cyro if not from whole game and let pvers enjoy their buggy improvment!!

    Right. I've been doing lots of PvP in Auriel's Bow EU (highest population EU campaign) for several days now, but obviously I don't know what I'm talking about. Don't you think your statement is a bit harsh if the only thing you don't agree with is the number of people required to start the fps drop? If you know what exactly causes the fps drop (a specific skill or scenario) please explain, I'm sure the people of Zenimax who are working on a fix would like to know what it is.

    The fix is the easiest thing - it always is.

    Roll back to 1.2.2 and then put 1.2.4 on the test server. Let all people going to the test server to PvP there get a free cool looking costume for their help - and get server logs - info on when it occurs and then fix it.

    Why do people always want to do the difficult thing?

    I wouldn't do a full roll back. If they could do it without causing more issues, I'd just remove the lightning mechanic that is causing all of the issues. Leave everything else.

    Do you know anything about programming?
    Here is a bit of 101 - Fix a bug and you create 2 more.

    I have noticed a significant increase in performance and reduction in the FPS drop, both in how much and how fast it occurs.
    This due to the fixes they applied to restoration staff skills.

    As for saying if they want to add 2 free weeks?
    I am pretty sure the game is playable.
    Do not be so self entitled to what you think you deserve..

    Every single patch improves the game, so this problem we are facing now, might just be a more visible part of an issue that was occurring before.

    Id say yes except for that I know its completely impossible to roll back this much data without completely corrupting every install out there.

    They would literally have to repackage version 1.2.2, force uninstall everyones copy, and then reinstall.

    For those who would get lost in this process it would be an epic nightmare.

    They made fixes which they believed would fix it, however it did not..
    But never mind the fact that they rolled that out really quickly to attempt to control the problem.

    Obviously they didn't succeed, but its not like they said 'Right, lets roll out a fix that doesn't fix anything'.

    Of my 5 guilds, 95% of them (the 150ppl out of 2000 at launch that didnt quit) are in Cyro all the time... PVE is meh, no one does AA or what ever any more, crag is a ghost town and the vet zones are empty as well. I saw 2 players the whole 5 hours ive been finishing Cadwells Silver. I'm also AD btw, we have the highest game population. Cyro is a HUGE part of end game but as of late, its being killed from the inside out. So yes, roll back the garbage patch.

    The yes people are horrible outnumbered though as a couple of the NO options actually are sort of in the same boat.
