LETS MAKE A HARDCORE PVP CAMPAIGN.

steinbergmanub17_ESO
Ok, so. I love playing in first person. But if you've come accustomed to this game, you know it's almost impossible to do anything high level, (especially PVP), with your game in first person. Why? Because people in third person have an advantage over you and will gank you the moment you turn your back. So, in conclusion, I suggest a hardcore PVP campaign! In this campaign there would ONLY be first person so no unfair advantages! This would add a higher skill level PVP expirience to the game and it would just be more realistic. Please respond if you think this is a good idea and lets get this to happen! Thank you!!!!

It would quickly turn into a F2PFPMMO

    This.

I would not want to have to turn around to check my back if the zerg train is coming every 5 seconds, or if you are in a largish group have my view blocked by others. Terrible idea.

I guess first person for this game was a terrible idea to begin with, then.

I want a hard core campaign but it has nothing to do with FP mode.

Mine has to do with limited deaths before no longer being able to play on the campaign. Can add other elements to make it more interesting.

    Nightmare Campaign:

Rule 1: A player can only die 10 times while on the campaign before being kicked from campaign. Player will still be rewarded at end of campaign for points earned even if already kicked.

Rule 2: General Campaign changes: All NPCs not guarding Keeps and Resources are removed from Cyrodil. No roaming dear or monsters. No solo dungeons or dolmens. The player population cap is lowered. Campaign Resets every 7 days. This has the shortest campaign duration.

Rule 3: Once a player dies it will spawn a VR12 Elite Zombie. Preferably with players name. Spawn will occur 5 minutes after players death. Zombies have no tethers and will attempt to destroy any living player or NPCs. Zombies can scale keep walls but not enter towers. Zombies try to gather in hordes and move as a group.

Rule 4: NPC Keep and Resource guards have a random chance to all turn into Zombies at which point the Keep/Resource becomes abandoned. When this occurs the new NPC zombies numbers in the Keep/Resource greatly increases so it will be a challenge for players.

Rule 5: Try to stay alive and not get eaten. Bonuses for taking enemy keeps/resources are increases.

Glad I read that through I would support this 100 fold.

Make a fresh thread this one wasn't thought out well, your's clearly was.

I am all for Hard Core Mode... do it in WoW.

But in a game whereas players don't take death seriously... the map would be empty in less then an hour of PvP.
    Indeed it is so...

I like the idea for a first person campaign, but I think Cyrodiil is too large for it.

Can't ever really get my head around the people that are so belligerently against ideas like these. It would be AWESOME if they had creative campaigns like this. And hey I know this is a radical and out there idea but IF YOU DONT WANT TO PARTICIPATE THEN DON'T it won't affect you in any way. But to say that it shouldn't be in there at all because you don't like it is pretty lame.

That's a great point there. Maybe reduce the area to just the inner ring of keeps around the lake? The emp keeps? Might make it easier

This game already exists and it is known as Darkfall Unholy Wars. It was/is a huge failure.

To be honest I would be fine with just an arena with an optional forced first person.

People are against the idea because it takes months to address seemingly simple problems on the current game. There is still an incredible amount of things that need fixing on what is currently released. The idea of the company pouring significant resources into all these dozens of new rulesets that people continue to throw out is just asking them to shoot themselves in the foot. Get what they have working well and then start looking beyond that.
