As if crits and misses are not bad enough you go and add another luck based mechanic

Edit:
I'm not even complaining about the bug, 5% chance to deal enough damage to kill you... The damage needs a serious nerf.

As if Vampires don't already have enough problems now.

    silver shards hits 100% of the time now..so..if you know someone is a vampire hit them with silver shards..they're dead.

    Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:

    - Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
    - Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
    - Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
    - Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
    - Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
    - In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
    - Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
    - Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand

    How do you accidentally make a skill proc 100% without messing with the skill somehow? It's undocumented in any form. Do they have a saboteur vamp-hater in their ranks that snuck that code in perhaps?

    It could be based on the vampire itself or because of the tooltips. Many different things can change when you change the main.

    Yeah it's crazy! Has 100% crit chance now even though the toolbar dosnt say so. So if your a vamp you will be dead in under 2 seconds even if blocking

    Thing is if drasticly increasing critical hits which can be done by some moves there is a chance it would actually affect the chance of the proc being budged by that, just some thoughts... and even if the case then the game is working as intended, undead should not be.... but that is my thing...

    As seen in some screenshots the shard when hitting normal should be hitting quite a bit harder as well on undead in general if having maxed skill lines here and there.

    I'm fine with making a mistake.

    But changing a skill and not noticing that the proc has changed to 100% while testing ist not ok.

    I mean, if you change a skill that procs on certain kinds of enemies, you have to test it on that kind of enemies. Not noticing, that it procs 100%, I can't believe they tested it at all after the change.

    It's like changing the windscreen wiper of a car and then testdriving it only during sunshine and not using it once.

    So for what reason did you test it then.

    Also most programers I know (studying business informatics atm) do at least test their changes a bit, or tell the qm's that they changed something, so they know they have to test it.

    It is clearly another bug they managed to add to the game instead of fixing it.

    Still , it is better to keep talking about , maybe they will take less than 1 year to fix this one considering how fast their dev team works.

    How was vamp fotm for everyone? by the time I got vamp they had nerfed swarm and still hadn't fixed mist form. I don't even use vamp skills. Now im supposed to die instantly every single time to anyone who sees I have white skin?...no thanx

    Anyway , zen devs are slow and incompetent , but not stupid.

    Im guessing they will fix it , but maybe it will take up to 2 weeks AND will probably break something else in the process.

    You mean like the tests that were done when they wanted to boost only VP on vet mobs? "Ooops, sorry, we boosted their health and their autoattacks are doing 500 on plate. Our bad."

    They probably just changed a variable and left it at that, making the assumption that making things work on players was the only thing changed...

    There wasn't even a way to test these pvp changes on the PTS. For instance, Rapid Maneuver not working on horses and this Silver Shard issue. The VR12 templates provided on the last PTS were all one faction and they don't give you any pvp skills. They gave us FIghter's Guild Skills, but no players to test them on. Not sure how this happened, as there were supposedly no changes to the Silver Shards skill.

    Technically they could, but it's not easy. They provided two different templates, each from a different faction. One is VR12, Daggerfall, one is low level AD or EP, and you can create a new character. So all the VR12's were Daggerfall, and for someone to test this Silver Shards skill on another player, they would have to arrange it basically with someone who made a low level character.

    Regardless, no one would know they need to test these skills, as they never documented any changes to it.

    Right. If you go to the PTS forum, you'll see my request that they enable at least a single Cyrodiil instance there to test AvA stuff. Set bonuses, skills, etc...

    And, yes, while you CAN buy a horse, we have 0 AvA skills. And vampire lines? Gotta farm for that trait.

    I think Rapid Maneuver not working horses was intended, according to patch notes

    i have no idea why i thought this, i must have read it somewhere, maybe reddit
