Chim Scroll taken due to exploit/bug?

So I saw on the forums that DC on NA Wabbajack were able to get into EP's spawn zone and spawn camp us for a while. Screenshot from Tintinabula:



Supposedly they also capped our Scroll by setting up Forward Camps in our spawn zones, even when the Gates were closed. I had always assumed the Scrolls couldn't be picked up when the Gates were closed to prevent such shennanigans.
Can anyone confirm this? I wasn't on when this happened.

Scroll is taken while both Gates and Gate-controlling keeps are under EP control. Would it be too much to ask that we get our Scroll back as it was taken via exploits?

I'd also hope ZOS sees this and makes a change, such as Scroll being untouchable while its associated Gate is closed? This would easily resolve the issue.

I know right? I've tried putting down camps in enemy zones when the Gates were open, I wasn't able to. I guess that's bugged too

1. cannot put camp in scroll area
2. thus put camp in starter area

However u dont need camps because you can unlock the wayshrine and just rez there

So "grey area" or not, it's going to be fixed.

I hope by "kill zones" they mean anyone getting into another faction's spawn/starter area will die instantly.

Yea. Something very strange going on there. Not sure how the camps work because I never tried to place one in those areas, but in most of the map, you can place camps in open fields as long as its not "too close to enemy" controlled objective.

As for picking up a scroll while the gate is closed, thats something that has always been allowed, and should continue to be so. You can legitimally go through a gate while it is open, then have it shut behind you. Are you saying you shouldnt be allowed a chance at a scroll, even though you earned the right to be there?

And I dont know about the "kill zones". I like the idea of someone getting into anothers spawn point being insta-killed, but I believe it was only set to kick you out if you tried in the past. Either way, should def. be the instakill route I think in the future haha.
