basicly streak to me seems to be the lesser choice due to it's lesser utility, so why not upgrade it so it doesnt interfear with your stealth AND increases the next weapon attack damage by 20% (15 at rank 1) but with a bigger cost scale that way it can be a choice for the more melee inclined Sorcerers out there who have no real class initiation that works
