PvP Video: Bloodthorn DC Defense Against AD/EP Cross-Teaming for Aleswell and Emperor

Morgane

Here is my video for the Bloodthorn Alamo defense of Aleswell and the Emperor title this last weekend. We defended the keep for over 2 hours to protect Naw Sunset's virtue!

Don't be proud defending an ill-gotten title for such an immature child. (yes, I'm speaking of Naw)

    Edit: Great video though.

I'd both like and loathe to see Nireel as emperor. She's a good player, she's put her time in, she'd be a holy terror on the battlefield. She's been a good sport from my teammates who've had conversations with her.

But every time the fire gets hot, there are a TON of DC in Bloodthorn who aren't here every day and Wabba drops down low.

Good job, DC. You're protecting a campaign you can't mathematically lose and the crown of someone who's had it for over a month with only a day or two off all while letting the campaign with the most bragging rights, and the one you had in your grasp slip away from you.

Meanwhile, I am making tons of AP.

It's baffling. DC should be locking their population on Wabbajack every night, just like EP/AD. All they need to do is out perform EP by a fairly reasonable number to take over the campaign and win.

But they don't. They'll lock Bloodthorn's population (or sometimes "only" three bars) while Wabba's will dip to 2 bars by 11pm CST. It's no wonder they keep ending up backed up into their own gates over there and losing out their chance to win that campaign.

They go for the low hanging fruit every time. You've won Bloodthorn. Why fight so hard over a map whose status is pre-determined? The map could be all gold or red for the next ten days and we wouldn't get close to winning.

I consider this my contribution to EP winning Wabbajack -- keeping DC sitting on its butt inside of Aleswell in BT instead of taking Arrius on Wabbajack.

Yes and no. If it weren't for campaign switching, EP/DC would still be PVDooring against AD in wabba.

People just need to be smart about where they go.

Going to BT is a complete waste of time for DC at this point. They could go to Celarus, ruin the Emperor Trader's day, or they could go to Wabba and actually try to win it.

It's not a waste of time. People (myself included) don't wanna just leave their campaign even if we have clearly won. It's like leaving a campaign when you know you're gonna lose. What's the point? Bloodthorn was 100% EP controlled until DC pushed them back, now they just gave up for other campaigns where they're already winning.

I've heard of a number of EP guilds that wont log onto PvP, Bloodthorn, Wabba or otherwise, unless they outnumber and are winning. Guess what EP! You can't win unless you fight! Even when you're getting pushed back.

Even though EP outnumbers everyone else in Wabba, they just barely won the campaign. If all the DC went to wabba like you want, you would get your *** pushed in.

Stop the QQ. Grow some balls and log in even if you're not winning for a change. Maybe you'll win more than one campaign (no, the 100% empty but EP controlled campaign doesn't count)

Please. I've been eating DC zerglings since the first day of Bloodthorn and will be until its last. I've never left and I'm not going anywhere. If it wasn't for EP, BT would be dead along the lines of Hopesfire, where no one ever logs in. Don't sit there and belittle us when it's us kick you in the arse from time to time that gives you anything to do.

But I have to laugh at the DC that have basically given up on Wabbajack when it was almost there, instead flocking back to Bloodthorn to feel good about themselves.

Grats guys, you've won this campaign. Now you're running around doing little of value while the people who ARE fighting tooth and nail on Wabbajack see their comeback victory falling away from them.

Great way to help your Alliance out, guys. Good work.

I'll laugh at your selfishness from over here.

    Last night's populations:

Wabbajack - Locked EP/AD, 1 Bar of DC
Bloodthorn - 1 bar of AD, 2 bars of EP, Locked DC

Point gap between EP and DC on Wabbajack back to over 13K.

DC, you just lost Wabbajack so you could zerg a campaign you've already won.

No one really cares what Wabba is at or that we clearly won Bloodthorn. We just want PvP. And DC is never low pop on wabba anyways usually anywhere from2-locked.

Besides, what's pathetic and lulzworthy is that you think just because doesn't want to leave the campaign they worked hard to take from EP (EP 100% owned the entire map at one point.) I don't want to leave and go help a boring campaign. Everyone I've encountered on wabba was super easy, or massive zergs which are also no fun at all.

DC is not like EP, we won't leave a campaign that we worked hard to take control, and we sure as hell won't give up a campaign when we start to lose. (*cough* LOOKING AT YOU EP!!!) This might be why you only won one campaign. Good job EP.

So DC should cap population on Wabba every night where AD and EP doubleteam them? Why would anyone want to get farmed like that? We know AD and EP are on each other's teamspeaks and working together. But I get it: you guys want to continue farming DC, so you're begging DC to play on Wabba. Forget it. Maybe if DC disappears from Wabba, you guys might decide to fight each other for a change.
The only substitute for victory is overkill.

    Seriously?
ALL we do is usually fight red unless blue is on our doorstep.

Now mind explaning why you had been capping Roe and Brindle instead of trying to take glade and rayles back from EP? Or pushing for our only scroll when you can't even take it??? Even your former emps were ganking near Alessia while the red zerg was rushing through to defend it from us.

Stop blaming AD for your fail.

Yup, here come the excuses and recriminations.

I took a night off from Bloodthorn last night just to see how bad it was. I got to kill Sunrest as a normal dude, which was a pleasure. We ripped that scroll of yours right out of your hands and walked it across the map after several back and forths and as soon as we docked it in Arrius, DC started bleeding population bars.

Wabbajack EP may not be BT EP, but they're still EP, and I want them to win, and I'll help them when needed. You guys, otoh, flee when the going gets rough.

    Hah. Hah. Hah. Hah.

It was a nice vacation, but I'll be back on BT killing blues tonight.

How is there such a queue if "dcs bads couldnt handle the competiton so they went to Bloodthorn to PvE some keeps."? And people are mentioning Bloodthorn DC locked every night while Wabbajack DC ranges from 1-3 bars. Hmm, I see video time stamp 23:46. Morgane would need to be from England to make it prime time in the states.

So many variables. Back when DC Wabba was putting up a fight and coming back the longest queue time I experienced was <30m; but please continue providing excuses as you trip over your own feet. ;)
