Arena set armor bonus (for 4 piece) seems to be bugged

I was making an Arena heavy chest piece for a guildie when someone on guild chat mentioned that the forum was saying that it's bugged. So I looked at my armor and it seems to be so.

Here's the numbers:

I have 4 piece Arena set (VR12, legendary). With everything on, I'm at 2361 armor rating (well into soft cap).

My chest piece is 321 armor and, supposedly, another 405 armor for the 4 piece set. However, when I take off the chest piece, my new armor rating becomes 2170. 191 difference so that accounts for the 321 value of the chest piece minus the soft cap reduction.

Where's the 405 armor for the set bonus? Seems to be not there at all.

By my math, with soft cap reduction, I should be around 2600 armor rating if the 405 set bonus was working. Significant difference from my current 2361.

Can a dev confirm that this armor is bugged or let me know if my math and understanding of soft cap is way off? And, if bugged, please let's get it fixed.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who put more than 100,000 gold in mats into a set of armor that doesn't do what it's supposed to.

I can confirm this. The 4 pieces set bonus (+armor) doesn't work.

Seriously? There was a single new crafting station added in the Craglorn patch and they couldn't even make it work? Do the 3 and 5 piece bonuses work?

Bugged in the game. I couldn't pull out armor stats except from in the game itself. And, to be honest, I'm not even sure if the 3 piece health bonus works. I need to check.

The 5 piece, don't know because I only have 4 pieces.

Didn't think on that. I'll do that when I get back online.

The 3 piece health bonus does work. Confirmed earlier this morning.

The 4 piece armor bonus does not work. From my own experience and confirmed above.

Unknown about the 5 piece CC break cost reduction.

Yeah sorry my comment was as said. I know people love to come on here and get a good thread going and complaining. But..This area is about crafting, so what makes what etc..

We don't get mods here that often so complaining here will actually get you no where. You have to bug report stuff in game. Otherwise its lost.

Point taken. I will submit a bug report the next time I log in.

I put this in the crafting area to let other crafters know that the Arena set is bugged and they may not want to make it until it's fixed.

not only is the 4 pieces bonus bugged but also the look of legendary arena set items (medium armor).

on the left you can see some of my new legendary arena set pieces (chest, legs, shoulder, belt & bow) mixed with 3 pieces of my old stuff, on the right a legendary 5/3 mix of hundings rage/song of lamae. seems like the arena set is missing the colour effects

Are you sure this isn't just a tooltip bug? Have you tested and damage mitigation?

My guild mates confirm the problem: the bonuses for 4 pieces and 5 pieces do not work at all. That's really sad...

I have sent multiple emails to zos regarding this. Over a month ago I have been sending bug reports they had way more then enough time to fix this and yet they dont even do anything about it. I really thought they would of fixed this intime for this patch but nope they dont even care. Its been over a month..... a month.

Well I just got bit by this bug now. I wish I had done this search BEFORE I WASTED tons of GPS and Tanins making a 5 piece set of this. I submitted a report in game.

Has anyone gotten anywhere with this? Any feedback at all?

This is THE top end crafted gear and its BROKEN?? This looks really really bad on Zeni. Im a huge fan of this game, but really? This is a huge slap in the face to all crafters and those willing to grind the GPs and mats to get this gear..

Patch 1.3 will be bringing huge changes to the craftable set gear though I haven't found any info on the Arena set... whether it'll be fixed or changed. Nothing at all.

Ah. I have found the patch 1.3 version of the Arena set. The armor bonus is gone. So my OP is moot. Doesn't matter that it doesn't work because they are changing it anyway. It's going to be all stat increase and CC break reduction at 5 pieces (which may or may not work... we'll see).

They changed the set bonusses with 1.3 anyway. And hopefully they are working then. Arena set looses its armor bonus (the one bugged atm).

I just completed the full 7 pc set literally 3 days ago. Then found this post. I wanted the set particularly for the armor bonus. Now my effort is going down the drain. I'm ok if they will fix it. but without the armor bonus i don't want it!

I submitted a ticket to see if i can get my set of armors exchanged or refund so i can look for something else after the update.

Just put in another but report. The call-back came actually pretty fast, but the answer was still old news.

It's bugged, we know it is bugged and always was. Changes will be done in patch 1.3 to those set boni anyway, but no date for that is known.
Actually it's not even clear when they will know the date for when they will announce the date for that patch ...

On other good news, yes they are "aware that there are still bugs in the game" (understatement of the day)
