Is it just me or this skill ain't revealing crap? It says stealthed (crouched?) and invisible units, but I can never see a nb sneaking (or any other class) untill I'm right on top of them, 12 meters my ass!
is this a bug? or invisibility has some strange buff on cyrodil?

Make Detection potions with alchemy if you want to reveal stealthed players.

I only use Inner Light for the spell crit.

not really what I was asking for... I already use some (have to buy), but the issue here is that I shouldn't have to use potions since I have this skill on my bar

It works... however some players/classes have abilities that can reduce the detection distance. It is also lvl locked it appears so a lvl 10 will have a hard time finding a VR12.

sometimes I can't even find a templar sneaking with light armor and a staff... I can understand khajit nb or some med armor passive, but come on!

Granted... the stealth detection in this game is quite shaky for a game that overuses stealth as a core game mechanic but alas MageLight is your best hope vs stealth. Plus a morph of it allows you to reduce incoming stealth attacks by 20% as well.

so far i can always see people sneaking but night blades still get their 2 second invisibility from their ability and you have to find them. its only a couple seconds you should be able to keep track most of the time.

Coming from the other side i can tell you that your mage light is very effective, you may not be seeing the enemy player but it is keeping you from being hit by a sneak attack.
